We stayed here for one night when we were attended a Padres game. It's a very nice alternative to the larger hotels in the area. The lobby and rooms were nicely appointed, and clean. The staff was very friendly. It was a very short walk to Petco Park, and the room had a nice view of the park and the buildings nearby. It's in a very nice part of the city, and it's an easy to walk to a lot of fun places. We also really appreciated the good channel selection on the TV in the room. That might seem trivial, but so many hotels cheap out on the TV and the TV source, so you get like only 10 channels and you can't figure out how to navigate to what you want. The TV at the Hotel Indigo had plenty of channels to choose from when you're just vegging out after a night out. My only complaint was that I left my credit card at the front desk upon check-in, and they didn't call me to let me know. I only discovered it the next morning when I went to pay for breakfast at a restaurant. When I got back to the hotel, they did have the credit card in a drawer, and they explained that they changed shifts shortly after I checked in. Not a very good excuse. But that's a really minor nitpick. We really enjoyed the Hotel Indigo and would not hesitate to stay here again, and I would recommend it to anyone staying in downtown San Diego, especially if you're taking in a Padres game. And by the way, we loved the quaint rooftop bar. Great views and really cozy.…
This was our 4th stay at Hotel Indigo for 4 nights. Most of our interaction with the reception staff was with David. He along with the entire staff were always pleasant & willing to answer any questions. We had a very comfortable & spotless room with a view of Petco Park. Breakfast was especially enjoyable because of the great staff including Sergio, Elaine, Mark, Britt, Adrian , Victor ,and Eoghan. We were so happy to see Sergio again . He has always been very welcoming and gracious. The blueberry pancakes were the fluffiest ever, and the avocado toast was another delicious choice. The menu had lots of variety to choose from too. We really enjoyed going up to the 9th floor bar. The best part was seeing Stephanie who is one of the bartenders there. She has the sweetest personality, and we were so glad to see her once again. There is a view of Petco Park, and the big surprise was the spectacular fireworks that evening. We will definitely be returning to San Diego, and we will be looking forward to another wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo. Thank you to all, Peggy & George…
We decided to stay here for our daughters birthday weekend. Great location for her and friends to walk to the bars. Restaurants everywhere. A must to return to for the atmosphere. The roof top bar was fun and the views were awesome
Awesome stay. Staff was excellent and Sam really helped me out! Rooms were nice and clean. Cleaning staff did a dynamite job. The hotel is located in a convenient location. Gas Lamp district is full of restaurants and shopping. One note: Make reservations at restaurants!
I just have to say … we’re only on day 3 of 4 but our stay has been nothing but fantastic!! The staff here is outstanding!! Specifically, Alex at the front end, Sergio and Adrian have been so friendly and just outstanding!! 💞😍 I would definitely stay here again!!! ❤️❤️

This oasis is approximately 15 mins from the convention. They offer a clean establishment with friendly staff and excellent amenities. They have a good fitness room with wipes, water and functional equipment. I love their Level 9 bar which gives a wonderful view of the city, esophagus at night. Linda checked my hubby and I on Thursday morning and gave really good recommendations for other city excursions. I only ask that you give her one day to enjoy the con because she really wanted to enjoy the event but had to work. She is so sweet. Next year we will come back here for sure.
Situated about 4 blocks (an easy and safe walk) from the actual Gaslamp area, we had a spacious room with two huge beds, a good bathroom with large walk in shower. Like many hotels in the US, they appear to have reinvented the kettle as a coffee machine working with capsules. We struggled with ours but the front desk lady who had checked us in quickly came up and decided the best option was to replace it, with a new one arriving after about 5 minutes. They were tidying the room and replacing towels, unlike some hotels we stayed in, but not the bedding. This made it all the more confusing that the cleaner could have removed my (brand new) pyjamas from the room as they could not have been tangled up in the sheets. There appeared not to be a restaurant or bar open. It is not clear if this was COVID hangover or if they have concluded that no one is going to eat there when the Gaslamp area is so close and the reason why people chose the hotel in the first place. I would happily recommend this hotel which is fully of the standard you would expect. We found a great Thai Kitchen restaurant on the corner of Island Avenue and either Fourth or Fifth, next to an Irish bar. The vegan sample appetiser plate made a perfect meal for my wife.…
This is not a four-star hotel. Maybe a three star hotel with lots and lots of problems. We can start with the valet, an outsource company that doesn't know to handle luxury cars. Inside the hotel, they don't care, because it's been outsourced. In the room, the TV is useless because you cannot search for channels because it keeps going back to the homepage. The shower does not have a lip to keep the water inside so the entire bathroom floods with every shower. What a mess. Calling the front desk, the first time they answered the phone and then they don't say anything, they just stayed silent. Then calling back, several times, they don't even answer the phone. Housekeeping does not bring new bathroom supplies, specifically shampoo and conditioner. The more I think about it, you would do better at a one star hotel. Lastly, Hotel indigo won't give you their rewards points if you don't book the hotel direct with them. And when you try to reach their customer service, they are a bunch of nasty people who don't like their company and hate their customers. This hotel company will motivate you to never ever stay in one of their hotels. So don't make the mistake the first time, just never go to their hotel.…
My stay at the hotel was amazing I stayed on the 11th floor and had a great view of the city. The breakfast was amazing and when you go you need to get their blueberry pancakes. One thing you have to do before the end of your stay is sir on the roof too bar the food is amazing and it has a great view of petco park. Lastly the whole valet staff was kind, patient, and overall amazing. The valet worker Sam was very helpful and insightful about the city. Can’t wait for my next stay!
