I enjoyied Americas Best Inn, I found the position particularly nice as it is close to the airport but also it's super easy to get downtown from there. Service was great and I was satisfied in all the requests I had. They have a nice parking all around the facility, and even if sometimes there were no spot left parking on the near street is always available. Definitively recommended!

For nearly 18 nights I stayed at Americas Best The Host The Maid Service was at all times polite and dutiful in all my request beyond in some cases. In this time of uncertainty it is nice to know that there is still a place In America that has not lost touch with yesterday and welcomes tomorrow as it shall once again be. A place of the heart, a place to call home when home is far away. Americas Best indeed !Thank You your guest Eugene Williams.

Breezy with attitude should work in sales not in hospitality

This review will be twofold. The hospitality and then the hotel. Travelers desire to be in a m/hotel that is accommodating regardless of price and most importantly hospitality of staff. An undesirable m/hotel experience can lead to a salty hour or day. Unfortunately, the Breezy that is in charge will likely destroy revenue for this place. We had a problem that needed to be resolved. We couldn’t get resolution and had to request police assistance. We attempted to resolve the situation because there is a reasonable solution to every problem. Unless you are a Breezy with attitude. Rather than resolving the issue, the response we received was, “We are family owned.” And as a customer that means what to me on vacation. In fact, that means very little to the money that I spending to sustain your family business. It is more critical to be hospitable and competitive rather than arrogant and dismissive. Oh yeah, she also mentioned, “The phone calls are monitored, and the cameras watch everything all night.” If it is true or not, being in a Big Brother motel may be more than violating a citizen’s right. But you see, when you are a Breezy and you run your mouth without thinking, thus, causing revenue for the “Family Business.” On the other hand, the husband (?), is a reasonable man with calm nature and tries to apologize for her behavior. He would have to, that is what husbands do. I assume she is the wife because I cannot imagine a daughter or sister being that ill-mannered she was so arrogant in her posturing and maladaptive customer service that she must be somebody… otherwise she would be FIRED.

Hotel: We stayed in the 3 double room. Price was great (4.0), even for last minute. Room was clean (3.7). Amenities were adequate as expected for the motel and its price, clean towels, bar soap only. The double room is separated by a sliding door for privacy (4.0). There is a refrigerator which is larger size than other m/hotels (4.0). No microwave, no coffee maker. The smoking room had no smoking aroma (4.0), that was a plus. One t.v., old fashioned, color but has cable and works well. Free wi-fi (4.0) and it works all night. I left before breakfast because the Breezy ruined the appetite. Parking is adequate. All hotel door rooms are outside access. Not an internal hotel. Hotel located within 2-4 blocks of all a traveler’s necessities (gas station, spirits, chain grocery store, walgreens, restaurants, take-out food, bagels, mandarin, natural store, thrift store, Home depot, fitness center, park, public transportation, post office, bus, freeway). You get the drift. Okay, so if you are used to city life and being in a motel with different walks of life then this place is decent. If you are sheltered or may be wary of who is around you, then choose another location. But, because of the Breezy at this location, stay at Comfort Inn, Mission Valley, Kings Inn or another m/hotel. The extra double bed is not worth staying here and other motels and their prices and location are comparable. Unless…when you make your reservations and you know that she will NOT be there on any of the days, you are good. Oh yeah, the best part is that she mentioned the Do Not Return list. This is their personal indicator for Do Not Return guests in case the guest attempts to book a future stay. You can’t predict Breezy and their conniving schemes but put it this way, I volunteer to be on that list.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I can't begin to describe how bad this place is. If it wasn't for the fact that it was close to where my son was graduating Marine boot camp, I would have nothing to do with it. The front desk could hardly speak or comprehend english, and couldn't understand that I needed extra pillows and towels. I had to call 5 times before someone came by with half of what I asked for. The rooms were dirty and in disrepair. The sink was clogged, shower was cold, no place to hang anything. TV was outdated and could not hear it. Air Conditioner was old and would just shut off periodically. The back patio door did not close. Maid service only came once during our 3 night stay. I had to go to the front desk to get extra towels because they refused to come to the room. The manager stated if I wanted maid service I would have to ask for it before leaving, or else they will not enter the room without me being there. Just a horrible experience altogether.

I only interacted with the person at the front desk once (upon check in). She was totally pleasant and professional. The room was spartan, but that's o.k. (the price is lower). The AC worked fine. I stayed for 2 nights.

This is a terrible place to stay because people go there to party and it is so, so loud all night (including the thump thumping sounds above me at 2 a.m. of wild guests). With all the noise (and total lack of sound proofing) and the loud, partying guests everywhere, it feels generally sleazy and sketchy. It is cheaper, but if you can stretch another 20-50 dollars for a nicer place, it will likely be well, well worth it. Otherwise, sleep will be a precious need you likely won't find there.

The pictures on Orbitz are quite deceiving. First the parking was scarce, narrow and horrible. Second, when we got into our double non smoking room, it smelled like smoke and the windows were wide open at 8 pm with no screens on them letting beetles and gnats in the room. The lamp flickered on and off and only worked when it wanted to. We discovered blood splatter on the wall in the bathroom and the toilet seat was broken. It was super dirty, the bath towels were dingy and warn. The AC Smelled like mildew, Front Desk Staff said they closed soon and no one would be on call for the night. Definitely will not be staying here again, the quality was terrible, definitely not worth the $73 we payed for one night. Do not waste your money here!!

Though the price is friendly, the place could use some cleanliness. Regardless of the price is, tidiness should be one of the priorities. secondly, soundproofing is poor as well. We could hear the occupants next room. AC/ heater was not reliable.

I've been traveling during this pandemic. Have been from 5 to 1 star hotels. AirBnB's and motels.

Not one has yet compared to the service and accommodations I have received here.

I'll keep it simple. Also, I apologize for my french. It doesn't do him professional justice. However, in terms of how complicated my predicament was, and how relievingly* simple the gentleman made it. It comparatively translates to this. Nick's the sh**

I felt like a had found a cities hidden gem. I wanted to move in.

Thank you America's Best Value Inn Loma Lodge. I'll be back as soon as I can!

Great service, great price and clean rooms. It was nice staying somewhere that you could tell that the ones working there really cared. Loma Lodge is not fancy, but if you want a place to stay that feels safe, clean and homey, this is it!!

I'm so sorry - just saw this question and I don't know the answer to it. We rented a car. I believe it was about 20 minutes from the airport with no traffic. It would depend what time of day you are trying to get to the airport.
