Great location. Great room. Everywhere check in at 3:00 pm and here . Unusual check in after 6:00 pm. what a waist of money. They charge you $38 for cleanings service everyday. But they don’t clean your room. I went to the beach and i think I’m a clean person but when you go to beach you always comeback with sand and no body told me that they cannot clean rooms.

We had a much needed week's vacation at Paradise Point. Our bungalow on the Bay was perfect. It could use some updating, but it was so nice to get out of the Arizona desert and into the tropical atmosphere and refreshing weather of the San Diego coast. We also rented a room for friends that turned out to be overlooking the parking lot and not the garden that the advertising had promised. We were graciously, kindly, respectfully and professionally taken care of by Alyx at the front desk, who provided us with an upgrade to a beautiful room with a garden view that we had imagined when we booked on the website. We ordered several meals from the room service menu and they were delicious and appreciated by the entire family. The Pizza, the Salads, & the Breakfast Burritos were our favorites. The Resort grounds are beautiful and a walk around the entire island is very enjoyable. I grew up in San Diego, and Never heard of Paradise Point Resort! Much nicer than our trips to Fiesta Island back in the 70s! 😎 Getting older has it's thrills. P.S. Alyx deserves an extra special Thank You from our entire family! Alyx, we deeply appreciate your kindness.

Had the best time at this hotel even during this pandemic. Felt safe and hotel room was so clean. Since the moment we arrived Alyx at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay magical, we were able to check in a little early. Thank you Alyx for making us feel safe and at home during our family vacation that was much needed. We were able to take our scooters and walk around the whole property. Rented a pontoon boat which you able to walk to and ate at Barefoot which was very yummy. On another night we doordashed food straight to our room can’t wait to go back!

I really appreciate the cottage style of the rooms. I think you only share one wall. It was quiet and it was so nice to have outdoor space. The bed was comfy and the bathroom is big. I think this would be a great place to bring kids but good enough for couples, too. Not a boutique hotel, if that's what you're looking for. Greater scale and a little bit of a Disney vibe. Car dependent unless you eat here, which you absolutely can. Barn door for the bathroom means that you don't get a lot of privacy.

Response from Paradise GM, Owner at Paradise Point Resort & Spa

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay, Qbanbread. I am thrilled you enjoyed the layout of our bungalow-style guestrooms, as the distance from your neighbors makes it more private. I agree, Paradise Point is great for not only families but couples and individual travelers. We have a robust guest activity guide (included with your stay) with several options for everyone. Our bayside yoga is a guest favorite! We can't wait to welcome you back for more island fun (or relaxation - whichever you prefer!). Sincerely, Jim Gross General Manager
