You cannot beat the location. You are pretty much on the beach. Now, if you go there, you know you are going to share a room. So you need to have an open mind and be ready to meet interesting people. The hostel is quite clean. It does need some work especially on the bathrooms but for the price and...

Top top hostel. The place is safe for all sorts of people, it's on the beach and within walking distance to all the good bars in PB. The staff are super friendly and will look after you. The rooms are very clean and you also have a small looker for your kit, have a good one and enjoy that surf...

Only reason getting a very good review grade from me is because of the amazing travellers you meet here, great porch bar where the party is at every night, best location in PB right on the beach front approx five steps from beach, central location close to all bars and restaurants - plenty of reasons people continue to return to...

I have stayed at Beach Bungalow for my past two solo trips to San Diego and had an excellent experience both times. The location is perfect- directly in front of the beach and walking distance to so many of Pacific Beach's best spots. The hostel is clean, the staff is friendly. The manager, Bobby, went above and beyond to make...

I stayed there for four weeks and it was the best four weeks I have ever had. I made good friends with the well trained and friendly staff. They were extremely helpful and tolerant of all the visitors staying there. Its right on the beach, which was at times a better place to party and meet new people than any...

Beach Bungalow is definitely a college-age youth hostel limited to foreign guests and those from out-of-state...and 18 years of age or older. I stayed there for two nights with my 18-year-old German grandson, but his 77-year-old-young-at-heart granddad was really made to feel like 'one of the family' by the hosts and other guests. The location is just across a sidewalk...

This hostel was the best one I have stayed in ever. There are a handful of hostels in the San Diego area and this is the one were I made everlasting memories. This place is magical in so many ways and I have met friends that I will know forever. Bobby is the manager of the hostel and is now...
