The hotel was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff, but the shuttle driver, William, went above and beyond. When we got to the lobby he asked where we were headed and offered us a ride so we didn't have to Uber. He also told us about a free ride service in the city. We saw him 2 more times during our visit and he always offered assistance.
The entire staff seemed to have the goal of making our stay as pleasant as possible. No matter who we interacted with (front desk, bellman, valet, bar staff), they were warm and friendly and appeared ready to go the extra mile to help us. Therese at the front desk was particularly helpful and warm in helping us fix an error we made in our reservation. The location is great for seeing all the downtown SD sights. The hotel is 2 blocks from the train station, and the major bus and trolley lines are within a few blocks. It's a great home base for visiting the city. It's a beautiful and spacious hotel with great views and I highly recommend it to families traveling to the San Diego area.
We had a great trip! Excellent and personable customer service by Gary Jonah and Quintez! We valeted our car and both valets had the car pulled up within minutes. Both would actually run to the garage to ensure we didn’t have to wait long. Hard to find good customer service these days and these valets both were very impressive!
Very poliye and professional valet service. Quintez J. Was quick and even knowledgeable and helpful about places to go around town. He helped make the experience at thw Westin more memorable. The hotel itself is clean and beautiful inside, modern and well maintained.
Kevin G. delivered an EXCELLENT experience with the Westin's airport shuttle service. He was so kind, and happy to share recommendations for things to do in the area as well as the best restaurants. After dropping me off, he made sure to find me and hand deliver a map of the city.
I stayed in San Diego for 80 nights last year. This time I felt to try some other hotel. On February 19, I booked two nights between 8-10 March at Westin San Diego Bayfront. But plans changed and I cancelled the first of March. Imagine my surprise when I discovered it was non refundable if cancelled more than one day after booking 👎not as usual a few days before stay. It cost me 600USD. 😡 Never more Westin San Diego Bayfront.
Very nice service! Especially Erdem, our waiter! Greeted with a smile everyday! Very quick service! He was so nice and literally made our morning every day! Literally looking forward to coming back!!
All employees are so friendly. I love eating breakfast at the restaurant. Erdem is such a kind and accommodating waiter and it was great to start our day with him. The rooms are clean and I love the robe
From the airport pickup via Westin’s shuttle to the very friendly and professional staff at checkin this was a very nice hotel. The service was great, the hotel was very clean and it is located perfectly between the water and the restaurant areas, all within walking distance. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty linens. The only drawback was the ice machines were down on a few floors. I called and was told to hop on the elevator and go to the 9th floor which I did a couple times each day. Not a deal breaker but definitely a dissatisfier.
Angel was fantastic. He truly helped me with my issues. He helped me with my luggage. He was very generous and maintained professionalism and truly took his job seriously during the time of the loss of my luggage.
