By far my favorite hotel. It has everything you could ever dream for a beach hotel. The views are amazing. The weather is perfect year round. The staff is amazing. Super friendly and nice. The rooms are impeccable.

We were itching to go on a trip. So when my hubby’s parents called and said they needed help with their fence, we jumped at the chance to go! We spent a couple nights here, it was great! The bird walk was closed but we still enjoyed our time here. Anywhere near the beach is awesome with us!

The Surfer Hotel is in a wonderful location, however, it is falling apart. The facade is crumbling so if you’re on the beach and look back at the hotel, it looks like a hurricane just hit it. The rooms are very basic which was fine because we didn’t spend much time there. But again, for the price I just expected more. I probably could have gotten a water front Airbnb for the same cost. If they just put a little money back into the hotel it would really help!

Great location and the staff was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Anna and Stephanie really accommodated us when we wanted to move to the 4th floor, they mad every effort and got us there quickly!

Got a last-minute room on a Saturday night in Pacific beach because we wanted to be at the beach so I checked around and found this place for 300 bucks....and a highlight of the experience was the front desk Lady named “Mercedes” - She was absolutely pleasant on the phone and when we arrived she was very accommodating and most importantly she made us feel important with her smile and her Genuine passion for hospitality....we got a room on the second floor overlooking the ocean (room #214).... bed was clean and the room was pretty clean except for the carpet was grimy and the overall hotel needs a good scrub down so if the management can take to heart & give it a good pressure wash and to spruce up the check-in desk area - it would definitely give it a good facelift... but like I said - for a last minute room for $300 and most importantly the service with a smile by Mercedes, definitely will make me go back again if I want to stay at the beach in Rock ‘n’ roll pacific beach.... keep up the good work in this crazy world and thank you for being of service...:)))
