From the moment you step into the place it feels like home. Gerrard the main man in charge on the front desk offered us a service the likes of which we hadn't seen during our Californian trip. PTH is warm and charming and the rooms are decorated in a way that wouldn't be out of place in a more expenisve...

This was a gift given to me from co-workers so I decided to use in for my Anniversary. We had a wonderful time. The room was upgraded for us to our surprise and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, but not overly intrusive. We got room service in the morning and the food was excellent. We have decided to...

Close to the beach if you wanted - but for me was not too far from my business meeting and restaurants close by - everything was in its place - quiet and peaceful after a hard days work - this will be my resting stop each trip to the area.

Not the cheapest but Right on the beach. Room ready upon arrival. Room had two queen beds with gorgeous wooden bed frames and furniture but tad squishy due to size of furniture. Shutters on windows didnt block all the light and light on outside of balcony did not turn off. The rooms as others mentioned were a bit stuffy- The...

We were booked into the Diamond Head Inn across the road, but left after seeing the badly stained carpets and general filth in the rooms. On the off chance we called in to see if the Pacific had any rooms. Only one was available and Gerard did his best to screw down the price a long way to a point...

Thank you for sharing your Pacific Terrace experience. It’s not often I get to hear feedback from the guests that pass through but do not end up staying with us for one reason or another. I will be sure to personally thank and recognize Gerard and we hope you will keep us in mind for your future San Diego travels....

An exceptional hotel with great views. My only complaint is that there is not a bar in the hotel. I guess I got by on the mini bar in the room. I would definitely stay here again but I promise you I'll have my own bottle next time

My family and I stayed at the Pacific Terrace Hotel during the third week of April, 2011. The location, as seen from the street, seems unimpressive, however the location as viewed from the balcony rooms and/or poolside is quite impressive. The room was clean and odor free (we're particular) and the accommodations were as promised. The front desk & staff...

My family and I just stayed at the Pacific Terrace Inn in early May. We rented a family suite for just under $400 per night. We had 3 adults and 2 children (11 and 7) . We were in the Dominica Suite. The room was nicely furnished and had a refrigerator, microwave, table and chairs, and small enclosed patio facing...

When traveling, we've learning that boutique hotels tend to offer more personlized service. We had the option of staying downtown San Diego, but we wanted to find someplace away from the hustle and bustle. Pacific Beach is an area full of character, and very laid back. We found the Pacific Terrace Hotel through TripAdvisor. This is our 2nd stay at...
