This was an awesome place to stay. The rates were quite reasonable by Boston standards. The check-in was automated, but we had a real friendly agent there assisting us. The location is great - an easy walk to Fanuiel Hall and downtown Boston. Several T stations are very close by. Checkout was also extremely easy. The beds were comfortable and...

The hotel is located in a great area of Boston, within walking distance of the State House, Quincy Market & Boston Common. It is clean with friendly staff. This is not a plush hotel by any means, just a good, clean and comfortable place to stay. The bathroom is very small and the shower stall is barely able to fit...

This is a good little hotel. We stayed here in mid September 2013. It is well situated in the financial district of boston within easy walking distance on most of the sights that you will want to see. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were of a reasonable size and comfortable. Wireless internet is fast and reliable. There...

Flew into Boston for a quick business trip. I didn't fly in until after 12:30 a.m. and all the restaurants and bars were closed. I was starving! Wahid, the concierge, was the man. On his own time, he found me food and even brought me a couple of beers that he had stored away somewhere. There are lots of places...

Club Quarters is the perfect location. It is within walking distance of all the main attractions and many great restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was small, but neat and clean with all the amenities, except a refrigerator. We loved the espresso coffee machine that is available to all guests, as well as the filtered water and...

We stayed in this hotel twice on our trip to Boston from Australia. We booked because of the good reviews and were not disappointed. The rooms were large and well equipped. They were clean and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is well placed for touring. We were travelling with our family and found the English...

I really enjoyed my stay. The amenities are nice, and the rates are great. Unbeatable rewards program. The rooms aren't overly large, and the style is more of a european boutique. If you need "extra" soap, or blankets every floor has a closet where you can freely grab them. In addition each floor has a purified, cold/hot water dispensing unit...

Our 4 day stay here was filled with great service from the very friendly and professional staff and a really nice room that was quiet and well appointed. We really felt at home here and the Living Room feature is a nice touch. There we found a welcome cup of coffee and snacks when we needed one. Sal Teixeira the...

This is a great hotel if you're interested in comfort, convenience and price as opposed to luxury and prestige. The room was small (which we expected), but extremely well equipped, very comfortable, and only a block or so from the Freedom Trail. The hotel obviously caters to business travelers, but we're baby boomers, and traveling is our business, so it...

When I booked the hotel, I was concerned (because it had such a low price) that it would not be a very great place to stay. Boy was I wrong! The staff could not have been more gracious and helpful. The room, although small, met our needs. The bed was comfortable. The pillows excellent. I would highly recommend this Boston...

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
