We stayed for4 nights and the king suite suits our family need for space. Room was Very spacious and a little dark though. Furnitures are fine. The hotel is walking distance to Marshalls and Target. Restaurants are walking distance too. Fenmore grill is just downstairs and you don't need any other restaurant since they have the tastiest food that you... More

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel which is in a good location, not far from the Kenmore metro station (and a nice little falafel snackbar across the road). This hotel has had a rich and colourful history, but its best days have probably now passed and it could do with some investment and refurbishment. Having said that the front... More

The service at the front desk was friendly and the hotel appeared to be clean and safe. The room was a comfortable size for two and had everything you may need in a hotel stay. However, the room that they gave us was located near a room in quite a dark corner that made me a little uneasy. Also, the... More

Charming historic structure, clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff, Kenmore grill and parking garage on site! good rates. We went to a concert at Fenway. Live in Maine and attend several Sox games a year, have always done a round trip which can be a drag so will return to da Buck frequently from now on

We chose this location for a short 2 night stay in Boston. We opted for a king suite to have more spacious stay. The historic hotel is located just about 2 blocks from the green line which makes it a great option to explore the city in an affordable way. Parking is a bit expensive for guest staying at the... I wanted to like the Buckminster, I really did. It has a good location right next to Fenway, and thankfully we stayed for a few days in July while the Red Sox were out of town. It's also close to the Kenmore stop on the green line, which is just down the next block. There are restaurants and bars all... More

Went to a concert at Fenway and this location was perfect. This hotel has history and charm. The restaurant was packed after the show and the staff hustled to keep people happy and get orders out. I would go back for sure.

Staff were friendly and helpful - got an extra hour before checkout without being made to feel bad about asking. However, the extra hour doesn't pertain to the parking so I had to park on the street. Would recommend to friends if their needs were similar to mine.

We chose the hotel because it was so close to Fenway. That part was convenient as we were there for two concerts. Only about 10 minute walk to the park. The appearance of our room was not great and overall it just has the basic necessities. Restaurant downstairs is ok. Serving staff didn't seem too experienced or happy to be... More

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighborhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
