I've read reviews about the king cabin rooms and my boyfriend and I couldn't be happier with our choice. If you want a good nights sleep go with the king cabin. Good location right in the middle of everything. I would recommend this place to anyone that is visiting the city of Boston

Nice hidden gem that places you right in the proper spot for walking. A nice bar inside that opens at 5pm. A Starbucks for snacks. Neat office area for working. Great use of building. Winter pricing is great. Parking is in a garage nearby. It does cost about 30 dollars a day with validation. Staff is friendly, areas clean. Well... More

My boyfriend and I wanted to spend a weekend in the city to meet up with friends. Us twenty somethings love to just hit bars and walk around to see the sights, so we wanted to find a hotel that was close to attractions -- all without breaking the bank. Harborside Inn was the BEST choice for the weekend! We... More

I stayed two nights in January. One at the beginning of my travels (my way out of town to Ireland) and one on the end of my travels (my way back home to Austin). I picked this hotel based on reviews, location, convenience, price. I wasn't looking for anything fancy. Just a place to plop down after a long journey.... More

I've stayed here several times and enjoyed the clean, comfortable rooms, stylish bathrooms, super convenient location and friendly staff. I was booked into the hotel for Monday, 1/25, but the blizzard on the East Coast wrecked our travel plans and we had to cancel the reservation. Unfortunately, I did not call in time to meet their 48 hour advance notice... More

Perfect room size for a couple just looking for somewhere to sleep. Very comfy bed. Staff was very helpful and friendly, even helped out and let us check in way earlier than the noted check in time. Restaurant and bar off of the lobby but we didn't go in.

This hotel is so much more than we expected. Rooms are a good size, club chairs, tables, king bed, etc. Best Mirrors, truly. It's really nice that it's not a faceless chain, it is privately owned and strives for excellence! The staff is so helpful, and the hotel has beautiful character in the most fun part of Boston. Wish we... More

So we checked into the hotel and were given a key to a "Cabin" room and told to go to the elevator and press the "B" button. I said, well that sounds like the basement? So our room is in the basement of the hotel.....I asked if we could please have another room with a window but because we booked... More

We stayed at the Harborside Inn on the night of 12/31-1/1 and it was fantastic! The hotel is literally steps away from Boston Harbor where the fireworks are held and right out front is the blue line T station for easy transportation. The decor in the hotel and room was beautifully nautical with a modern twist. Our room also had... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
