With this "boutique" hotel, you have a true trade off......a basic, simple hotel where you can put your head down to sleep versus an outstanding location. Let's do the easy part. It is a perfect location to so many places and all within walking distance. It's in a safe location with plenty of places to eat nearby. Now the hotel.Staff... More

Room was clean, few extras in this hotel. Free WiFi. There was a small refrigerator. No coffee maker, big television but poor picture quality. It was quiet. The location was the best thing about this hotel.

This hotel is in a great location. Very short walk to Quincy Market, also very close to the harbor. We got it at the last minute for a very reasonable price. We had booked a cabin room, without really knowing what that was. When we went to our room - which happened to be in the basement, we were not... More

We were shocked and not what we expected for. $400 a night room. That's all we git a room! Not even a kettle to make a drink or bottle of complimentary water. The room was incredibly noisy even though we were on the top floor. The double glazing was non effective, we ended up putting cotton wool in our ears... More

Stayed for an overnight and picked here based on price and location. The location is great...right next to Fanueil Hall. The room was a little outdated...there's a VCR player for your VHS tapes. It didn't really matter though....we only slept there. Probably more like 3 1/2 stars....if you have the money, there are nicer places to stay, but this was... More

When we entered our room our jaws dropped. This was without doubt the most dismal, tiny cell that we had ever experienced. I don't think the hotel is that old, its just someone's weird design idea. We complained and said that for the price charged we didn't expect sub budget accommodation. To their credit they immediately gave us an upgrade... More

Great location, huge rooms, great walk in shower, and a great value if you can catch a good price. We paid $180 for a very large room with a king bed and huge shower. The only negatives were really low water pressure and no coffee maker in the room. 2 minute walk to Faneuil Hall and the Market, 10 minutes... More

We stayed in this very nice hotel for 3 nights. Our room was on the 4 th floor in room 401. This room was without streetview but inside. Very Nice and quiet. The room was also very big and clean. Most of all location, in the heart of the city and harbor the perfect place to start your holiday. Staff... More

We picked this hotel because of its great location. Walking distance to everything. Its a very colorful fun hotel. The staff was wonderful and our room was great. Not big but very nice, they had a industrial, modern look. Plenty of storage. The bed we very comfortable and the pillows were perfect. Will defiantely will be staying again.

The rooms are very decent for the price and location right across the street from Long Wharf. The strange thing about this area is, there are no restaurants offering breakfast around. Well, there's a nice bakery one block down on State Street but it's closed on weekends.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
