When we visit our daughter in Boston we always stay at the XV Beacon. Love the location, amenities and attentive staff. Would recommend highly. Easy to get to many historical sites from this hotel. We plan to try their Moo restaurant on our next visit.

The hotel and the service were perfect. The room was beautiful, roomy, clean, and very quiet. It had a fireplace, and an espresso machine that we loved. The shower/bath tub combination was great. We had included a bottle of champagne in the reservation and it was waiting for us in an ice bucket, with two glasses. The mattress was a bit too hard for our taste, and we mentioned it to the front desk the first day on our way out to sight see. When we returned a while later, they had added a soft mattress topper to our bed! We had a great turn down service every night that covered every detail in the room. The car service was available the couple of times we wanted to use it and the driver was very nice and informative about the city. We stayed for New Year's and watched the fire works from the roof top terrace. The staff were greeting the guests that wanted to to go the terrace with hot cocoa. They think of every detail to make your stay special and flawless.

We stayed a couple nights over Christmas and what a mistake!! For a 5 star hotel it certainly fell short! The room itself was nice, but many in Boston are for MUCH less than what I paid. The espresso machine was dirty, water left in it along with water in the ice bucket. Who knows how long that was left there!! The stopper in the bathtub didn't work, so we were unable to use the jacuzzi tub. Totally UNACCEPTABLE for a 5 star hotel. The manager could have cared less! Will never return.

The hotel is very nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We paid $550 a night for a standard room. Is it worth that? Probably not. The concierge was had limited hours. I would hope that there wold be complimentary coffee in the morning. No. I had to buy it at their restaurant next door, Moo. It was $16.00 a cup for a regular CUP OF COFFEE. Not a misprint $16.00 for a CUP OF COFFEE.

My husband and I spent a weekend in Boston and stayed at XV Beacon Hotel on Beacon Hill. To say that the staff was fabulous is an understatement. We were delighted with a gorgeous room that was bright and sophisticated and roomy. The concierge, David, handled our dinner reservations and also arranged to have the hotel car transport us around. He was a font of knowledge regarding our esact tastes . The manager was so attentive and responsive to any issue we had The location of the hotel is great. a walk into the park and Beacon Hill. All in all a great place to stay
