From the moment we arrived to our departure the customer service was superb, The hotel is quaint and charming. A real through back to another era but with modern amenities in every room. What a delight to finally have room service, turn down service and genuine hospitality back! More hotels could learn a lesson from the staff here. They were all amazing. What a treat to have a fabulous steakhouse Mooo attached to this hotel. We dined there one evening to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it could not have been better. Thank you to all! Also, it’s a nice addition to have a car service to transport guests around town. We used this service twice and it worked perfectly. Our driver was very knowledgeable and so pleasant.

My wife and I were recent visitors to XV Beacon along with our dog. The staff was wonderful with her and helped us get our bags unloaded and up to our room. They recommended a pet sitter and we’re very pleasant to work with. The room was very clean and service was excellent. In addition the offered car service taking us around the downtown area was a great perk. Our driver, Grazi, was so friendly and offered advice on things to see around town. We will not consider staying elsewhere when we return to Boston.

Perfect location, outstanding service, wonderful staff! The rooms were well appointed and the 15 foot ceilings really made it feel open, The house car was a great service and seeing the city lights from the rooftop deck at night was the perfect way to end the evening.

Excellent property! Lovely room. Impeccable service. We went there for our anniversary and had a lovely time. We were very happy with our experience there. The hotel offers a courtesy car service. From the doormen to the front desk to the housekeeping and wait staff, all provided excellent and courteous service.

This was our second stay at XV Beacon. Our first stay was one of the best experiences we have had at any hotel, period. Our second stay, we did not have the same experience and it mostly had to do with the hotel front desk manager, Patrick. From the moment we checked in, he was less than personable. Perhaps, we had such a great experience on our first visit, we had high hospitality expectations for this trip. Patrick is a professional, but not extremely friendly and is not going to go out of his way. My wife and I never felt welcome when dealing with him. On every occasion we attempted to use the hotel vehicle, we were told it was not available and he would never offer an alternative. When we communicated with the drivers directly, they were fantastic and accommodated us between their trips, finding a solution for us, unlike Patrick. For the first time in my travel experiences, I was charged a damage fee. It was $400. No, we did not throw a big party. I accidentally spilt some wine on the carpet and they did have the carpet cleaned. I have no problem paying the fee, since it was my fault, but felt as if Patrick did nickel and dime us for this, but nonetheless, it was my fault. When I checked my bill weeks later, I found out that Patrick had charged me twice, $800 for the cleaning, which was supposed to be $400. As I checked out, I confirmed with Patrick that I would only be charged $400, but was charged double. Also, when I checked in, I booked part of my trip though Amex and Patrick informed me at check in that I had a $160 credit from Amex for food service. Well, Patrick failed to apply that as well. At the end of the day, I was overcharged $560, which luckily I audited my folio and caught. When I called back and spoke to Patrick, he never offered up an apology for the mistake. As a matter of fact, he charged for some food we purchased on the way out that we had not been charged for before. I'm not in the hospitality business but am in business and know I if I wanted to have repeat clientele, I would have handled it dfferently. I'm not a complainer and quite frankly, don't remember ever writing a negative review about anything. We did however, write a 5 star review on XV Beacon from our first stay 2 years ago. Our overall experience at XV Beacon was great, less our dealings with Patrick. Everyone from the drivers to room service to the concierge were terrific. The concierege David was so nice. He made us special anniversary reservations and helped us celebrate in the hotel with a treat. We loved this hotel and decided to celebrate a special occasion there but I don't know if we will return. Up until this visit, we thought we had found our home in Boston. XV Beacon is one of the finest hotels in Boston, just need to clean some things up, in my humble opinion. At the end of the day, I think XV Beacon would be well served to invest in some Ritz Carlton like client service training for him.

What a beautiful hotel at the top of beacon Hill. Feel so pampered and got great recommendations from the concierge. Great location; great linens, great bathroom, great service. My go to in Boston. Love how clean it is, how beautiful the room is and that the staff goes above and beyond. Just love it.

We had an amazing experience at our wedding at XV Beacon this year. Elizabeth Broyles, the private events manager, quarterbacked the event. She met and talked with us numerous times prior to the wedding day. On the day, she was laser-focused and brought a calming energy while we were running around. She made us comfortable and excited and the day wouldn't have been possible without her. There were numerous other XV Beacon team members that significantly improved our experience. Everyone was top notch including the doormen, valets, front desk staff, bellmen, and waiters. The staff's professionalism and kindness exceeded the already strong reputation of the hotel. The food was absolutely amazing and our guests couldn't tell us enough how delicious it was! We plan to come back for dinner to relive some of the magic of our special day. We can't recommend XV Beacon enough for a wedding!

Simply put this is a wonderful hotel. We went to Boston for our daughter’s graduation. The hotels that we usually stay in were all booked because it is graduation season. We found the Beacon XV online and could not be happier. The rooms are wonderful and large and very well appointed. They could not have been nicer. The staff is great as well - in every respect. The car was always ready and they charged my EV overnight. Housekeeping was excellent and everyone did a great job. The restaurant is also lovely for breakfast. This will be our new go to place when we go to Boston. Lucky us.

If you are ever in Boston looking for a great luxury boutique hotel, then you should check out XV Beacon. I have stayed here a few times while visiting Boston on business. The staff are fantastic and the rooms are "roomy" and the beds are so comfy! Best of all, you don't have to leave the hotel to enjoy a fantastic meal as Moo is connected to the hotel. I would highly advise you check out XV Beacon the next time you are visiting Boston. Oh...and they are right on top of Beacon Hill so just a short walk out the front door to the waterfront or to Newbury Street and the Back Bay.

Generally, I don't write reviews I but had to give XV Beacon a shout-out. We recently stayed at XV Beacon for the Boston Marathon weekend. From the moment we pulled up in our car, we were treated like returning family. Everyone at the front door/desk was incredibly helpful and accommodating. They went out of their way to make runners feel at home with a special early breakfast the morning of the run and upon my return from the race, a personalized framed note congratulating me on my marathon. After. the marathon I was very delayed getting back to the hotel before check out, but once again the staff at XV Beacon welcomed us with open arms and encouraged us not to rush. I can not emphasize how much of a difference staying at XV Beacon made to our weekend, simply the best hospitality in Boston. (and they have the most amazing showers).
