Ideally placed for a one night stay. On the airport side of Boston. Downside to this hotel is that you are told to phone to be collected from the airport, but no instructions on how to do this if you don't live in the USA. Once we had sussed this there was no answer, so we walked. Had we known we could have caught the general airport shuttle that stops right by the hotel, this information would have been acted upon. Also the hotel pushes the water taxi, but the ferry is cheaper and also there is a good train service across to downtown Boston. The plus side to this hotel is that it has great harbourside views, the breakfast was really good, the staff were very friendly, a cot was provided when requested.
This was our second stay at the Hyatt Regency Boston. After flying all night cross-country, we appreciate that we are able to check-in to the hotel a couple of hours before the normal check-in time. The hotel shuttle is convenient and timely and the hotel is a short ride from the airport. Though our room was overall clean, we did find the windows to be noticeably dirt-we had an harbor view, and the window sheers also needed to be cleaned. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our meals (breakfast and dinner) at the hotel restaurant, but we feel they are priced on the the high side. The hotel is not located within walking distance of any other food/bar options. It is located in a beautiful location on the harbor and on the harbor trail and close to the water taxis/ferry. My tip one tip is to read the card about what your "resort fees" cover (eg a food credit at the restaurant, and a goodie bag) and to be sure you get them!…
It's not worth the high price tag it carries. I redeemed 2 FNC so stay was free as a globalist incl breakfast+parking. Breakfast was really poor for $27/p and the menu items were limited with no day-to-day changes. Stay was nice and service was good but the retail price is not worth it. You'll get better stay and more convenient access at Hyatts in the city. Water taxi to city is convenient but very expensive at $15/p and stops running after 7:40pm as of September.
Our room wasn't cleaned for 2 days and when speaking to reception about it, all they stated was 'we must have had our do not disturb sign on the door' even though it never was. When it was eventually cleaned, some of the supplies were short. ie. coffee; cups etc. The concierge told us the water ferry wasn't running, yet we found out ourselves it was! The restaurant in the lobby wasn't open all day which was a pain on occasions for a drink etc. The corridors were really shabby and need decorating.
This is our go to hotel when leaving Boston from Logan. We can drop off our rental and get picked up by their shuttle to the hotel. Then shuttle in the morning to the airport. Super easy and convenient. AND THE VIEW FROM THE ROOM! Spectacular especially at sunset.
After a long flight in from Vegas we were greeted by a very friendly chap who couldn't do enough for us. The room had a fab view of Boston harbour and is well worth the extra money. The beds were comfy and the shower good. We had the buffet breakfast included in the rate which was very varied and good. The service was quick and friendly. Its a good choice.
We always feel so cared for and honored at this hotel. Shaheen Durham is the front desk manager was extremely kind, communicative, relaxed and cheerful. Honored our requests very gracefully! A plus in customer service! Gorgeous view from room and restaurant. Great lighting in bathroom and room. Super comfy bed. Delicious seafood chowder. Best! No complaints. Giuseppe the shuttle driver is super! Delightful ride to airport. 24 hour shuttle. Class Act.
Good place for a single night stay at the airport. Updated room and bath. Clean. Nice views. Quick shuttle to airport terminals. Understaffed small restaurant. No room service available. Easy check in/check out with Hyatt App.
Bed was firmer than I’m used to, but we managed to get some sleep. The room ac was very loud, so I can’t imagine staying here without ear plugs. Curtains are not room darkening so make sure to pack a mask if you want to sleep in. If you are bringing a car, please be aware that it’s a bit of hassle getting in and out because of the airport traffic. At the time of this posting, parking is $26 a night. If you need a fridge, please ask the front desk and they will send one to your room (there’s no additional charge). A fridge is not included in the room by default.
Fantastic location and welcoming Check in. Checking out and holding our bags until later in the day was appreciated. Broken ice machine on our floor, no fridge in room, underwhelming service in bar and dining area.
