Pretty good spot, location is good, we were able to get a good view. One thing was that they gave our room away even after we called and they assured us they wouldn't. We were supposed to have two queens with a view, and had to settle for one king to keep the view, but the guy who checked us in was super nice and tried his best to accommodate. Only other downsides were that the pool was closed and the bar was very over priced for what you get. Other than that not a bad spot.
Great place..room was a good size, nice size TV..very clean and tidy..Staff was brilliant. The view was amazing, room service was second to none.plenty to do eat/drink walk or taxi ride.Beautiful at night time, loads of watering holes and restaurants...Fantastic place...everyone so helpful..Would stay again..
The staff is always friendly and accommodating; they even remember me year after year. They always find me a great room with a view. The hotel conveniently located near the T, restaurants, shopping, etc... Plenty of places to go jogging, including the Public Gardens and Common.
What a horrible experience. The hotel was understaffed despite being very underbooked as the COVID virus was just starting panic. However, that does not excuse the poor attitude of the front desk (which I was told... I should have reported to the people of the front desk when it happend). I'm not kidding, I just got off the phone with a Sheraton Rep and she said I should have told the front desk about the poor service. The halls had carts of glasses that sat there for at least the two nights that were there. Small request like extra pillows were ignored until we kept on top of staff. The service was worse than at any LaQuinta that I have ever been in. Despite paying twice the price of the rate at the night of the stay, staff tried to upsell me to a better room. As other reviewers have mentioned, temperature regulation was sub par... but what i'm most upset about is the "we dont'care... too bad..we have your money attitude" . Avoid this place at all cost…
Having to stay in Boston for the recent Harvard Model Congress I was genuinely pleased with this bustling hotel. Despite over 1000 HS students in the hotel, the service was very good. The only complaint anyone could possibly have was waiting for the elevator IF you happen to get on or off when the students were headed to the conference. The rooms were clean & bright, my view of the Charles River was beautiful. The “market” in the lobby provided freshly made sandwiches, breakfasts etc., ready for pick up or delivery to your room. The service to the room may have been the quickest I have encountered (understanding the menu is limited). The breakfast buffet is excellent. The location can not be beat with access to the Prudential Center with restaurants and shops and steps from Newbury street. Boston is my home and I would recommend visitors stay here, I was very happy I had to! The staff was incredible from the front desk to housekeeping. A stellar group.…
