Overall experience was great, was there for a work conference. Rooms need in room refrigerators. The rooms are not cramped and the beds were comfortable. The in room air could use a few improvements but it wasn't unbearable.
We enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Revere Hotel! The hotel had a unique design paying tribute to the history of the city. The room was clean and comfortable. It is located in a convenient location close to city amenities. The check in was efficient and we were greeted with a smile. Thank you for a great stay!
My first and initial impression of the hotel was great. The carport area with an attached garage and car rental agencies right next door however once you enter the hotel it no longer feels like a 4-Star. The lobby seemed small and not so grand. The scent was ok but not really inviting. The hosts were all dress nice and pleasant during check-in. The bar area seemed small. I was ok with all this since I am not a traveler that sits at the bar and have a drink. My main concern is always the aesthetics, function and cleanliness of a room as I will be spending the most time in there and what I paid for ultimately. The room size was average but it had a musty smell when I walked in and turned on the air immediately to remove the smell. It was quite outdated. From the carpet to the chair and ottoman and especially the bathroom. It is what I would expect from a Holiday Inn or Marriott but not a “4-Star” like Revere. It was tiny, the toilet was in a weird place and did not function well, the shower was not very relaxing and overall experience was subpar for a 4-Star. The location was fine but walk a few minutes in any directions and you will see other hotels too. I can go on and on but I hope management will reinvest into upgrading all rooms and make this hotel feel more upscale. In conclusion, I would most likely not stay at this hotel again unless they reduced their prices to align with a 3-Star hotel or upgrade and enhance the entire hotel.…
The hotel looks great from the outside and the rooftop bar is meant to be a good place to visit. The rooftop bar was booked for a private event on the Fri and Sat I was there so couldn't go. The rooms are a little tired looking and the lighting challenging with no main room light but several smaller lights around the room. Whilst I was going to provide a better overall rating, on the last two days I started developing itchy red spots on my body. Wondering if these were mosquito/insect bites, after I returned home and saw the doctor, they were confirmed as bed bug bites. I have several over my right arm, back, neck and leg. This can surely be avoided in a hotel with good hygienic washing. Disappointing.
Zach was absolutely PHENOMENAL! From the moment we stepped foot into the hotel until the moment we left, Zach made us feel so at home. He was extremely helpful and kind. He made our stay in Boston seamless and enjoyable. When we return we are ABSOLUTELY staying at The Revere. Amazing service. Amazing food. CLEAN!!
Can’t say enough about the Revere Boston Commons. They staff, the hotel, the location could not have been any better. The staff went out of their way to take care of us and location was number one. Room size was great and also great view. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Boston.
Stayed at the Revere Hotel for one evening after attending a concert at the Boch Center. The location was perfect, only a couple of blocks from the Boch Center. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and bars that you can go to before or after the concert. Hotel is clean, lovely decor and hotel bathroom has some nice amenities. The security guard was extremely nice. He offered to walk with me to the parking garage to make sure i was safely in my car. This was very reassuring as I get nervous when walking along in a parking lot. I would stay here again.
My daughter and I took an overnight train into Boston for an event. I had reserved a room at the Revere because it was one of the more affordable options close to downtown. The front desk attendant was wonderful when we showed up at 9:30 am - we were able to drop our bags for a few hours and he promised us an early check in. The hotel is in a great area, close to Boston Common, walkable to just about everything. Our room was clean, quiet, and had a great view of the city. The beds were exceptionally comfortable - lots of pillows. I'd definitely stay here again.
Enjoyed a perfect stay at this hotel! Parking was easy, great atmosphere, super friendly staff, very clean, great views of the city, delicious food and drinks at Rooftop bar, easy walk to the Boch Wang theater, and great starting point for any adventure in the city! Will definitely return!!!
Booked this place after seeing other reviews. The rooms are worn out and not the cleanist. We booked here because of the rooftop bar and food which at checkin were told it was closed both nights for a private event. At time of reservation I specifically mentioned the rooftop and was told it’s open to hote guests and wasn’t told there was a event. I didn’t book much in advance. Very disappointed with the condition of the rooms mostly. Staff is friendly, location is okay, still had to take a lot of Ubers.
