Neighborhood
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.

Boston is a little quieter these days but it was actually really nice. Driving into Boston from Rhode Island was one of the easiest drives we've ever had. Upon arrival, the hotel was clean and had clear signage as it relates to COVID and on-property amenities. Check-in was efficient (front desk had a plexi-glass barrier). They also have signage in the elevators stating that only two guests can ride at once and must have set the elevators to not stop once you were in them because we never stopped or saw other floors once we got in the elevator). We had an amazing room on the 24th floor overlooking the John Hancock building. The views and sunset were incredible from our balcony. The room itself was great (decor, bath products, comfy bed and clean). The Manager, Fernando at Rooftop at Revere was very nice and set us up with a cabana for a socially distanced dinner. We slept in and missed breakfast but there is a Starbucks across the street with a park/ fountain. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks Revere.

I stayed here July 19. When I first arrived I was charged for the room which is fine. As expected. When I went to leave the hotel staff was insisting that I did in fact not pay for the room. So I went through a whole process including calling my own bank to prove the payment had been processed. I wasted a whole hour on the phone with the bank. Just to learn it was a problem on their end. Very disappointing.

Our stay has been wonderful! Audrey at the front desk was super friendly and helpful, she even gave us a room upgrade and a bottle of champagne for our anniversary! Our room is very spacious and newly decorated/renovated with a spectacular view on our balcony of the Boston city skyline. Will definitely return to this hotel next time we’re in Boston! Also perfect location.

Extremely classy and exceptionally clean and fashionable! It was noticeably spotless which was greatly appreciated with everything going on! The best part was the front desk who was incredibly helpful, informative and friendly! By far my most favorite hotel!!!

I love the Revere Hotel Boston Common and won't stay anywhere else when I travel to Boston. The staff is very helpful and goes out of their way to make your stay special. My only complaint is cost of parking, but that's all of downtown Boston.
