I was returning my daughter to Emerson College so this hotel was a great location. It was close to the Arlington T stop and to many restaurants. An added bonus is that it's 2 blocks from the Gardens and Common, so I was able to enjoy a long morning walk.

Great stay in the Revere hotel. Though reception area is being renovated and we had to change lifts on the 6th floor, it was still a great stay. We had a mixup with times of a coach pick up but we were compensated by Being given a complimentary breakfast ! Staff were all very helpful, room bright with a great... More

My room was clean, very well appointed, upscale sheet on comfortable king bed, modern classy bathroom, and had a great view of surrounding Boston from an outside deck. The only thing missing - a microwave. Fridge, but no microwave.

The Rever hotel is really well situated for discovering Boston. This is the second time in four months we stayed here and have been really impressed with the level of service both times. The team are friendly and competent and seem to be empowered to make decisions. For instance, we were unable to watch a movie on pay tv, so... More

I spent two nights in this hotel, a Sunday & Monday. For some strange reason the bar is closed on a Sunday. Location is a few minutes walk from downtown Boston but is close to several restaurants infact Legal Seafoods is opposite the hotel. My room was comfortable for two nights but I have had better rooms in other hotels,

The hotel is undergoing some renovations. No pool, no lobby, a pain to get up and down to the room, no restaurant, the gym had an odour of gasoline. The rooms are no more than plain average. On the up side, the location is great and the bed was comfortable. There are hotels downtown that offer waaay better value for... More

We arrived well before check-in for our two night stay at the Revere. Thankfully the staff member on reception was more than happy to check for room availability and was able to let us check in early. This meant we could take our belongings to the room before heading out to a pre-booked boat tour in Boston. I really liked... More

The hotel is under construction, and when buying this room, it was not noted that we would be walking into a renovation. There were not signs posted, so it meant our initial impression was quite poor. After a few annoying things at check-in, we went to a room that was filthy, with beyond poor lighting, there were broken lights, and... More

Our stay at Revere Hotel was excellent. Even with renovations going on the stay was friendly and the construction had no effect on our stay. The hotel room was clean and logistically perfect for those who want the best site seeing experience possible. Close to downtown, ocean, top rated restaurants and shopping. We will be back fore sure👍 nic n... More

We loved staying at the Revere Hotel in Boston! The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. We had a short stay of two nights and despite the hotel being under construction and having refurbishments made to it during our stay, the hotel was still of a very high standard and very comfortable. Check-in was easy and swift - we even... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
