Awesome close to Boston Marathon buses and finish line! Ya baby! Couldn't get much closer to Legal Seafood restaurant! 5 minute walk to Boston Commons & Public gardens. 8 minute walk to Charles River pathway system. Dining/shopping on Newberry is 10 minutes away by foot.

The rooms at the Revere were recently updated, with extremely comforable beds and pillows, and a very functional bathroom. It was a pretty large room for Boston, which was a nice bonus. The artwork was a bit whimsical (George Washington with a nose ring and anchor tattoo). It felt like a luxurious hotel at a competitive price. During our stay,...

Only 2 elevators were working. We spent 45 minutes stuck on the pool level. The doors to the stairs were locked. Huge safety issue! If the property was under construction we should have been informed prior to our stay.

I had a great weekend with my friends in Boston and the Revere only added to the experience. Staff was all around very polite and helpful. The renovations look very nice, and the patriotic theme was cool!

This place was freshly renovated and you could almost smell the wet paint (but in a good way)!! Very clean and sleek; rooms are spacious and when they say queen beds they are queen beds...very roomy and comfy beds. Loved the art work and decor in the rooms!! Highly recommend for location, value and style

It was a very nice and comfortable hotel. The location was perfect. Especially regarding the Boston Marathon. The staf was very friendly and helpful.Unfortunately our room didn't had a refrigerator. The only minor pint were the elevators. Sometimes we had to wait for a very long time. And when the elevator finally arrived, it made a lot of stops

I've stayed here a couple times for work. Location is great - within walking to Boston Common, theaters, and Newbury St shopping. It's a modern design hotel with a quirky flare. The rooms are average American size, with a really large flatscreen tv, but slightly smaller bathroom. Bathroom had shower/tub combo, nothing special, but tub big enough to soak in....

Stayed at the Revere for the Boston Marathon, location is excellent to catch the buses to Hopkington and at the finish line. I actually beat my family back to the hotel!! Staff was impressive and top notch. We did have a few issues with the air conditioner, key cards, elevators and our adjoining room "promise" didn't materialized. The staff was...

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.

“Our room was located on the 22nd floor well above the traffic noise with sliding doors opening onto a nice balcony with great views of the Prudential Building and Charles River. Our King Room was very good size for being in the City with a refrigerator, coffee set up and plenty of lamps to illuminate the room.”
