We had a great stay even though they are doing construction. The location is perfect. The service was fantastic especially Jill who couldn't do enough for us. This is our 3rd stay in about a year and we will be back in May.My one complaint is that while construction is being done the elevators are very very slow .

We like a million other peole left some items in our hotel room. Expensive items! Not only were they able to locate them but they sent everything back to us. Our world coud be such a better place if everyone took care of eachother as they did. The skating at the Boston Commons and the aquarium were also a lot...

First stay at this hotel on a business trip. Hotel far exceeded any expectations I had. Staff was super friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and fairly large compared to other nearby hotels. This will be my preferred hotel in Boston in the future.

The whole place was under construction, especially in the lobby. We were woken up at 8 am with a vague emergency alert and from then on we lost power. We were promised a pool, but it was "under construction" and we were offered access to a pool 8 blocks away. The wifi barely worked. The bed was comfortable though.

From the moment you are greeted by the doorman, and reception staff, you can tell this is a great place to stay. However, you can't help but notice the constant activity around you. Tables, furniture, coming in and out - this hotel in under a clear renevation, but somehow manages to be terrific at the same time. I would certainly...

This hotel has a great location, the rooms was spacious and the bed was comfy. The only thing majorly wrong with the hotel is that the shower is just lukewarm. This was not the case for the sink so I don't know what was going on. It was terribly uncomfortable as we were there in winter and showering was not...

Powder went out at 6:50 am, no one came up to let me know what was going on. I was a bit nervous.. I packed all my bags & went down the stairway from the 23rd floor. Meanwhile I was not ready at all, I went down to the lobby they said it could be a few hours before the...

The hotel is in a great location, central for all the sites. We walked everywhere. The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. I was a bit concerned after reading some reviews but we had no problem getting elevators or with excessive noise due to renovations. In fact the staff were so lovely when I mentioned that Expedia hadn't...

It was my birthday and they hotel upgraded our room & had a bottle of sparkling with some mini birthday cupcakes with a lovely note. Have stayed here before but this time the hotel was undergoing some massive renovations. Lots of the usual stuff was closed and the hotel rooms were very difficult to access from the cramped and so slow, did i mention SLOW elevators. However the rooms were still clean and spacious, the staff courteous and the location just cannot be beat. Steps...

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
