The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. My room was large and had a balcony overlooking the outdoor bar and city. Food provided at the event and conferences was good. This was my first time in Boston and found the location to be close to many places where is was a short walk. Rock and Rye down the street was fun too.

Hotel's Favorite
We have stayed here over a half a dozen times- with and without our children. The Revere staff is by far the best at accommodating all of our needs. We are always greeted with warm smiles and positive attitudes-today was no exception. Upon our arrival we met Alito and Varzan. They were welcoming and helpful, assisting us with options of activities to do with our teenage boys. Our room was clean and had a beautiful view of the city. The beds are extremely comfortable and the common area in our room is cozy! I highly recommend the Revere with or without children! You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing!! Those are the two words that I use to describe this hotel! Between the staff and the rooms, it couldn't get much better! The staff always greets us by name and gives the best advice about where to go and what to see! I will always recommend this hotel!

Friendly staff, nice rooms and it had the amenities we needed. The internet was easy to use and a good selection of TV shows. The breakfast in the morning was very tasty and filling. We were very happy with the location. Easy to get to tours and lots of shopping.

The hotel is in a great location. Even when we got an Uber to leave the hotel, most things were within a few miles. The area around the hotel is safe and clean. There are several restaurants close by - most are fine dining but we found everything we tried to be delicious. The staff was kind and accommodating. A fridge was available upon request. The housekeeping staff kept our room stocked with coffee, bottled water and fresh towels daily. Before going, I read a few comments indicating it wasn’t clean and that wasn’t ever our experience. I would stay here again.

if you go to Boston, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. The rooms are dark, not cleaned well and smell terribly. Durin my stay, not only did the water faucet not work and sprayed water all over me, I also had an incident where water was literally dripping down my ceiling and it took hours for anyone to take action. I did not have a mini fridge in the room and I did not receive any new water bottles from room service. To get fresh water, I either had to walk down to reception to ask for it or walk to the fitness center to refill my bottles there. Definitely not what I expect from a 4 star hotel.

Since we got the the Revere Hotel Boston Common, the staff were super nice and helpful with us. They helped us to feel the special guests. The room was very clean and confortable. And the location was the best we've ever chose in Boston. We will repeat in the future!

We were looking for a nicer semi boutique hotel in Boston for a weekend getaway, and decided to try out The Revere. On paper this seemed great. In practice, I couldn't recommend this less. I will start by saying everyone that works here was very nice and seemed like they cared about our stay, but the issues we had just were out of their hands. - The hallways of this hotel do not seem ventilated or air conditioned. While we were there they all were warm and musky, and smelled like a mechanical oil or something probably from the elevators. - When we checked in and got to our room, the AC unit was disassembled and blowing hot air on full blast, and the balcony was open. A very nice maintenance guy showed up and moved us to a new room. - Once we settled in our new room, my wife laid on the bed, and noticed a large toe nail sitting on top of the bed next to her. This was supposedly a clean room, so either the cleaning ppl clipped their nails on the way out, or it wasn't actually cleaned and this nail was from the previous guest. - I talked to the front desk about these issues and was given a room credit for food and drinks to be used in the bar or restaurant. We did have a drink at the bar, and neither was very good, so we decided to use the credit for a dinner, only to find out the restaurant did not serve dinner. Only breakfast. So we woke up and tried to order breakfast, only to learn that they did not offer room service for breakfast, only after lunch time. My wife did go have a breakfast in the restaurant on our last day, and charged it to our room, and the hotel charged my credit card for it instead of using the credit I was given, even though she specifically asked the front desk about it to try and make sure. - The rooms do not have robes or hair dryers. We requested a robe one evening and it did nor show up. The next morning before 8am we got a knock on the door. I didn't get up to answer it, but I do think that was the time they decided to try and deliver the robe. - I pointed out these issues to the people at the hotel, and again, they were all very nice. They even sent up a fruit plate and wine to our room. But, I had stepped out to get something and my wife was taking a nap when they came to deliver it. She told me they knocked once, and then entered the room to deliver it, and then rushed out when they realized she was in the bed. For the price, I expected way better than this. Rooms were decent, conference food was pretty good. Room AC was a little odd and personally I didn’t like the bed, but it wasn’t horrible. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel bikes need to be serviced, and chains degreased and tightened. Location was good as well, close to a lot of sightseeing and food.

Staff courteous and helpful. Parking simple which is rare in Boston. Room was upgraded at no charge as we had medical and dietary needs for a refrigerator and microwave. Quick walking distance to Boston Common.
