A short walk to Boston Common or the Harbour so perfectly situated. The two bars were very different which gave a choice of buzzing or quiet drinks/food. The storage space was limited in the room but it was very comfortable. The staff dealt with a drunk, noisy guest quickly and efficiently and gave us a voucher for a free coffee...

I stayed at the hotel in a suite with another adult and four teenagers. It was such a historic and gorgeous place to stay and so well located right in the city center. I would stay there again in a heart beat. Lovely little bar right inside the hotel as well that should be visited for a nice place of...

I was with a group of 14 friends staying at this beautiful and elegant hotel. The staff was wonderful and attentive. The rooms were equipped with robes and toiletries, also very comfortable beds. A few of our traveling companions had to go home early and the staff attempted to change one of their prearranged tours to another day. When they...

I was in room 420 the night of my stay. I was only in the room a few minutes upon check-in until I retired for the evening. I was at the hotel for a conference at the hotel the following day and was in need of a good night's rest after a long day of travel as well as what...

We would have been very happy to move you to another room had we known your sensitivity to noise. Should you stay with us again, notify the Select Guest Loyalty Ambassador of your experience and we'll make sure to place you in a very quiet section of the hotel.

Beautiful, historical building in a perfect location for sightseeing. Very friendly & helpful employees. My ONLY complaint would be the prices. Because this is a very old hotel, the rooms are small with adequate but tiny bathrooms. We would always choose to stay there if it weren't for the prices. We loved our stay, but I think it was a...

We celebrated Mother's Day this year at the Omni Parker House in Boston. The hotel itself is beautiful if you appreciate old world craftsmanship. Very historic and perfectly situated in the heart of the city. The food and service were excellent. Following brunch we walked to Faneuil Hall, North End and the public garden. Everything is walking distance from the...

The hotel is wonderful. The staff are welcoming and cater to any of your needs. The brunch was simply wonderful. A great variety of food. On a beautiful day you can walk down to the common or Faneuil hall.

Upon stepping into its handsome, historical lobby, the Omni Parker House awed me by its grandeur alone. But then I was further charmed when head of concierge, Seamus, introduced himself and offered to spend fifteen minutes going over a map of the area, sights to see, et cetera. From then on, whenever we didn't know where to go or what...

I stay at the Omni Parker often for work trips to Boston. It's a close walk to my office in the financial district, and the service is always excellent. The hotel is close to great restaurants, and many historic landmarks.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
