The hotel was beautiful and our room was incredibly spacious. Although the room's finishing were a little old and worn for wear we truly enjoyed our stay at the Omni Parker House. The location and history of the hotel cannot be beat.

Great location in central Boston and near all the best attractions and really good restaurants. The hotel has a lot of historic value and the room was comfortable and clean but this isn't the place if you are looking for amenities. The staff was great except for one very rude front desk agent.

It's nice to stay in same place where whose who of America stayed. Rooms are kinda small but it's understandable since the structure is more than 100 years old. But the amenities are updated to our current needs..

This hotel was very unique. Though the room appears dated it had the charm of an era that I loved. The room I was in was small but I have no major complaints. I wish I was higher up and had a view, but it's an old building and is overshadowed by newer, taller buildings. I enjoyed the service in...

We stay here for 3 nights with a Groupon certificate which made the cost reasonable. Great location for view historic Boston. Looked like a lot of business people were there also. The hotel is modernly dated. Great room size but the bathroom in the executive suite I had was barely large enough for me to enter. Also the office buildings...

Hotel is one of the most historic hotels, read up on it before you go. The lobby is beautiful. Rooms are very small and you can hear people in rooms next to you. Location is great walking to great restaurants and shopping.

This may be a hotel with history but it needs to raise its game if it wants to continue to charge $300+ a day. All looking rather tired, especially the small bathrooms where bath plug didn't fit and shower difficult to work. At prices it charges it should also be throwing in breakfast.

As the title suggests, the decor/atmosphere was amazing! The staff were friendly (for the most part) and I felt very welcome. However, I stayed in a traditional room, which was probably the smallest room I have ever been in. It was weird enough with two people in the room. And lastly, the room service was unnecessarily expensive, and a bit...

Rooms are small, few electrical outlets. Housekeeping tried to gain access to our room after dark. Very unprofessional, response from front desk was equally disappointing. For the money, stay elsewhere.

My husband and I stayed here while we were visiting family in Boston. We only stayed for one night, but it was truly a gorgeous hotel. It's in close proximity to Boston Logan Airport, and to the Seaport area, which is where we spent most of our evening. This was during graduation weekend, so this was actually the only hotel...

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
