This is indeed an Oasis in busy Boston, perfectly located within walking distance to Fenway, Back Bay attractions, MIT, Boston Pops, subway, etc. On a quiet more residential street so out of the fray. We had a 3rd floor walk-up room, but didn't mind, plenty of space, comfy bed and pillows, good shower. Breakfast each morning was plentiful, with real... More

We were greeted warmly and the owner kindly showed us around the place when we arrived. The room was small but we didn't mind because the bed was comfy and we spent all our time outside exploring the lovely and quaint neighbourhoods of Boston. Breakfast was yummy, and being able to print my boarding pass out on computer in the... More

Accommodations were clean and neat although small and sparsely furnished. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is a great location; walking distance to Fenway, Copley Square, the trip from the airport was free (although no one else seemed to know about it) and 3 blocks from the train station. Shared a bathroom, but never had to wait and it was... More

As long as you don't mind climbing stairs (recommend no heavy suitcases), this is a very simpatico place(neat and clean, no big design curlicues, safe and quiet), with a comfortable sitting room in the ground floor. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spare, the price right. The staff were very accommodating. A few long blocks to the T. It may... More

Oasis Guest House Bed and Breakfast is a great place to stay in the Back Bay area of Boston. Located on a quiet side street, it feels like a neighborhood and, in fact, has a nice children's playground on the street. We were hospitably welcomed and taken to our room (205). The room, which has a nice bay window, is... More

This little place is within walking distance of Fenway Park in an area that is really quaint and quiet. It is close enough to the downtown/Boston Common that you can walk there easily. The two guys that ran the place were super helpful and nice and the morning breakfast was surprisingly good for a continental. Don't let the shared bathrooms... More

Oasis Guest House is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from a T station, and about 10 minutes away from the center of Back Bay. The staff is super friendly and willing to help with questions about the Boston area. Nice breakfast in a homey atmosphere. We've stayed there 3 times for the Boston Marathon. They always... More

What a gem. For a reasonable price, you can stay less than 5 minutes from the Hynes, Berklee College of Music, Symphony Hall and so much more! This very well-kept lodging is housed in a couple of quaint brownstones in the Back Bay area of Boston. The neighborhood was safe and active and just one block from a variety of... More

I've stayed here several times now on layovers coming and going to Iceland. While the rooms are basic, it's probably one of the best values in the city. Service is very friendly, beds are comfy and it's in a perfect location not far from Fenway or the Convention Center. It's easy to get here and back via the Logan Express... More

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighborhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
