The four seasons is in a perfect location .its right across from the commons. It's an easy walk to beacon hill or the north end. The staff was courteous, helpful and pleasant . The complimentary car service a nice perk . The restaurants brunch is good but for lunch it's a waste of time and money. The vote is in... More

I stayed at FS while looking for apartments before starting Grad school in the fall. I had inquired a few weeks prior about school-specific rates via email. When we checked in, we were upgraded to a executive suite, and also sent a plate of sweets decorated with the name of the school I will be attending. The staff were very... More

My kids enjoyed the cookies and milk at night and the pool and fitness area was nice the concierge was a great help the restaurant was pricey and I think you need more complimentary breakfast for the price and a shuttle to and from the airport... Great hotel, friendly staff and awesome location right across from Boston Commons and within walking distance of almost any of the classic historic sights. You can pick up the Freedom Trail with just a 5 minute walk. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

First, the hotel location in downtown Boston is incredible. It is directly across from the Public Garden and the Commons. It is one block from Newbury St. with its shopping and restaurants. I jogged on the Esplanade along the Charles River every morning. There is no better location. Second, the service was incredible from the moment we arrived. The bellmen,... More

A very nice hotel in a great location. The only minor issue is it is a bit dated. For example, a few more plugs near the bed for devices would be nice. But they told me they are doing a renovation soon. Great service and staff. The food service was also very good.

Loved this hotel. Stayed here two nights at the tail end of a trip to Cape Cod. This hotel is incredible. Pulled up in our rental car and were quickly checked in. Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
