My family and I spent one night at the Boston Harbor Hotel on a recent trip and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and it is so convenient to many Boston attractions. The staff was extremely friendly - from the valets to the front desk staff. We had a room on the 11th floor with a beautiful view of the harbor. We were assigned an accessible room, which had positives (lots of room) and negatives (the bathroom door opened/closed automatically, the shower curtain was too short and the bathroom floor got quite wet).
The room had two double beds. Since my sister and I shared a bed, and we are both pretty small, it wasn't a problem, but it may be challenging for larger/taller guests. The bed was VERY comfortable. There was a desk, a Nespresso machine with a variety of pods, and a well-stocked mini-bar, but no refrigerator where food or drinks could be stored. Complimentary cans of water were included.
Being an accessible room, the bathroom was very spacious. There was plenty of counter space on the vanity. The shower included both a rainfall shower head and a hand-held shower. The toiletries included with the room seemed to be very high-quality.
At bedtime, our beds were turned down, and slippers, face and hand cream were provided for two of us. It was a very nice surprise. In spite of the fact that there was a band playing downstairs, the room was very quiet.
Early in the morning, I walked downstairs and watched a beautiful sunrise at Rowe's Wharf. We enjoyed walking to the many nearby attractions and restaurants.
It was a wonderful stay and I wish we could have spent all three nights at the Boston Harbor Hotel.

Absolutely the most outstanding experience I have ever had at any hotel. Above and beyond only begins to describe the service. We stayed 2 nights over the New Year and were amazed by the attention to detail from check in to departure, the quiet calm of the room, and the spectacular view over the harbor. This will be our hotel of choice in Boston going forward.

This is an excellent city hotel. I returned here after almost 2 years and now that the locker rooms reopened I additionally enjoyed a very good steam room and there is a bathing suit dryer which goes very well with their indoor swimming pool. The gym is also excellent. The restaurant is also excellent both at dinner and at breakfast. Only thing is they close the pool at 9, which is not convenient if you arrive after 9 and want to swim at night. I didn't see any reason to close it to lap swimmers. The lights are on and everything is working. At a Four Seasons it would have been open. Only other thing I didn't like was that i had a Harbor view suite (it is soaked in sunshine in the morning and has a great view) and that when I arrived at 9:30 at night there were no treats in the room, which is something I expect with a suite. Had I arrived after 10, there would be no food service on property. I went down to the restaurant for some dessert and made some noise and they comped me on it, which is another reason this is an excellent property. They intimated that I was on a promotional rate and didn't deserve things in my suite; my feeling is that if you offer a product you have to maintain a certain standard even if you offer a promotional rate. $1,000 a night plus tax is not exactly a giveaway.

First of all: The location is great. Alles an Sightseeing Touren in walking distance. Room top maintained and very clean. Negatively, it was noticed that at a room rate of just under € 1000 per night breakfast is not included. And this is also high-priced for not always inviting food (see photos). The staff very friendly. The most embarrassing thing was: I had informed before arrival that my companion will celebrate a round birthday on Friday. We arrived on Wednesday night. What happened....barely in the room there was a knock and a small cake with colorful sprinkles, 2 wine glasses and..... Drum roll... 1 large bottle of still mineral water !! were delivered. Not only 2 days early (superstitious people think it's bad luck), no - even handing a bottle of mineral water with 2 wine glasses for a birthday is shameful. Not only given the high cost of accommodation. Then please don't send anything. A general manager was also nowhere to be seen. A good general manager is a visible one. We are torn because the hotel and the location are very nice. But what happened there is embarrassing. We really liked Boston, but next time we'll go to Mandarin Oriental. Too bad, dear Boston Harbor. Where was the captain?

This is a beautiful hotel that has exceptional customer service. My husband and I booked the NYE package and had an amazing time. The hotel goes above and beyond to ensure a phenomenal experience. A few examples of their exemplary customer service: our GPS took us to the Residences entrance instead of the actual hotel entrance with the valet parking. Because it is a one way street, it would have required us to drive 4 blocks in alot of traffic and turn around to get to the correct entrance. They radioed the valet at the hotel and he came to get our car no problem at all. We arrived at check-in time with a long line, they apologized for the delay and passed out waters. Our room was not ready and they offered us an alternate room or we could wait for what they said was a room with an amazing view and worth waiting for - they gave us a voucher to enjoy an appetizer on the house. The room was spectacular - amazing view of the harbor and courthouse and we had a front row seat out our window for the NYE fireworks - truly amazing. Champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and turn down service with slippers next to our bed and Diptyque luxury lotions on the pillow. We pre-ordered our in room breakfast the night before, which was part of the package. The breakfast was a bit delayed, which we expected, so we just lounged in our robes drinking delicious nespresso coffee - loved the detailed instructions on how to operate. Breakfast was amazing - eggs benedict with lox and hollandaise, Irish benedict with homemade corned beef hash, fresh berries and pineapple, GFree toast with butter and jams, oatmeal with walnuts, brown sugar and golden raisins for add-ins and the option to order almond milk was a bonus. This is our favorite hotel in Boston and will definitely be back!!

Currently staying here for 2 nights. Arrived at 3.30pm after a 34 hour journey from Western Australia to be told that my room wasn’t ready (check in time is 3pm). Was told to sit and wait in a chair near the lifts. Attitude from reception staff was very poor - just said hotel is full so I would have to wait. After 30 mins I spoke to the concierge who was much more helpful and agreed to look after my bags so I could go out and grab a coffee. Came back and waited again. Saw numerous people arrive and be given rooms straight away. At 4.30pm I approached the concierge again and said I would like my bags back and I would find another hotel as I was desperate to rest after my journey. The concierge then found a room for me. Such a bad first impression.
Room is very very dated. Shower over the bath with a shower curtain is not something I appreciate particularly in a supposed 5 star hotel.
All staff apart from reception are excellent but can’t make up for such a bad start.
I won’t be back

The quality of the room and bedding was excellent. The breakfasts were also of a high standard and the location offered lovely walks around the harbourfront. I found the concierge service unhelpful and the staff generally were not overly friendly.

Unfortunately, we had a horrible experience at this hotel. I can only assume we were given the worst room because we booked through Expedia instead of directly through the hotel, although we paid $3300 for 5 nights. Asked for a room change immediately and we're denied due to the hotel being full. Paid for a harbor view but were given a very obstructed view. After sleeping 3 nights in the dilapidated bed, the manager finally moved us but not without much pain and stress! Would not return. ***Update-Called and spoke with Steve Johnson, Operational Manager.

Tried to book this hotel through Chase Sapphire. Chase did not show double rooms and only a King room available. Doubles were available on the boston harbor hotel website directly. The published online price difference was $30 when booked through the hotel. Called hotel direclty and offered to pay difference. Was told to speak to Chase.. Chase said hotel insisted on ~$150 price difference "if they were able to accomodate the change".... 40 minutes of life wasted...All for 2 double beds instead of a king. Switched reservation to the Newbury.....

Hello Melissa!
Thank you for your question. Although not all Deluxe Guestrooms feature a pull out sofa, we do have a selection of guestrooms that do! Please do not hesitate to reach out to our reservations team who would be more than happy to assist should this be a request of yours.
We look forward to hopefully welcoming you to Boston in the near future!
Warm Regards,
Team BHH
Yes. There are several ways to connect Logan Airport to the Boston Harbor Hotel. There is taxi and Uber service (expect about $20 fare). There is train (underground) service from the airport to both South Station (silver line) and blue line (Maverick to Acquarium). Also, you may call to see if the hotel has shuttle service. In spring and summer months, there is water taxi service from the airport to the hotel (Rowe's Wharf). I'd suggest taxis service if you are in a hurry and have luggage.
Enjoy your stay! Boston is fun. The hotel is a very good choice!
There are more places to choose from in the Boston area.
