The rooms are very large , comfortable , clean and well equipped . Thanks to the check in procedure on the web we have been very warmly welcomed and celebrated for our honeymoon.     Great Stay During These Crazy Times
    We stayed at the Boston Harbor Hotel during August 2020 . From the moment we checked in, the hotel did a great job of making us feel safe. Everything was very clean and social distancing and masks were enforced in common areas. We were handed a bag with masks, sanitizer and a touch less key. The TV remotes were sterilized and sealed in plastic and the housekeeping did a really nice job about cleaning the room everyday. My son even got chocolate chip cookies every day and I had a special present on my birthday , which happened to fall during our stay. The room we stayed in was a Premier Suite with great views of the Harbor. Being near North End means a great choice of eating options as well as delivery through GrubHub and DoorDash. The room has a sofa bed ( for those with kids) They do not let the delivery drivers into the hotel , which is a great safety mechanism but on the flip side, it means that you will need to meet the driver outside to pick up your order should you decide to use a food delivery service , which was honestly fine with us since we prefer to be over cautious during these times I did get a chance to use the pool and gym during my stay . These are only available by reservation and booked for 45 mins at the top of each hour . They do a really great cleaning during the 15 mins before each appointment and on most days, we, a family of 3, had the entire pool to ourselves. All in all , it was a great stay and we will be back whenever we visit the area again . My only feedback to the hotel is to make sure that staff is a little better trained to be more respectful . Most of them were absolutely delightful ( special thanks to the door men who went above and beyond and made us feel so welcome ) but on one occasion, I had a pool appointment and found housekeeping in the room . I knocked the room to ask how long it would take for them to complete and if I could grab my towel and backpack and head to the pool .. the attendant rudely said no . After requesting again , she stepped out but within a minute started banging on the room door again . On another occasion , I asked a staff if the old phone outside the elevator still worked ( a question my seven year old asked me) and the staff scornfully responded , “of course , it works” and walked away.. Again, these are small things and our overall stay was very enjoyable . For those thinking of traveling to Boston and worried about COVID, I think Boston Harbor Hotel is a great option . They take the cleanliness seriously and seem to be doing everything possible to make sure the visitors can have a luxurious stay during these difficult times.

    Reserved this hotel at Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts. You get a lot of amenities, many not guaranteed, but none the less offered. Early/late check in, $100 hotel credit, etc. I thought for certain I booked a two queen room. My bad. Turns out they don't have rooms with two queens. We arrived on a quiet February Saturday afternoon and were told we had a two double room. I can't even fathom why hotels even use double beds these days, but ok. Front desk person could give a you know what if I wanted to try and get my upgrade to a suite with a King bed and pull out for my kids. Her colleague leaned over and said the word no hotel guest ever wants to hear...."I am fully committed today so we can't offer you a larger room". Do you own the hotel? YOU are fully committed or WE are? Fully committed is a soft pedal, non-committal phrase that says you're crud out of luck. On a spooky empty Saturday? The restaurants and bars were half empty all week. I told them I'd go up and check the room and possibly check out if not big enough. They could have cared less. She told me to go up and look at the room and let her know if I needed to check out. Nothing was heated. I did not use any profanity. OMG. Ok. Cool. Your competition would love to have me, I'm sure. We checked the room and it was nicely appointed in old school Boston beds and furnishings. Very clean and nice. But two adults in a double? Awful! So we slept like mummies with our arms to our side for four nights. This was a college tour and the ironic part is that if my kid gets into a Boston university we will not stay here on visits. The front door team was very nice and the check out guy nice too. I also thought it uncanny how each and every person getting breakfast had to be approved by the front desk by a physical phone call to the front desk. It made for an awkward moment while the hostess called to make sure we weren't ripping them off on a free breakfast. This is not very professional.

Boston Harbor Hotel has been a delight. My spouse and I went on a vacation this summer and stayed here for two weeks. I had a blast. It is expensive but it is also very nice. The rooms are amazing, as well as staff and the food at the hotel. I can't say enough good words about this hotel. It has everything you will need for a relaxing vacation.

Great staff, location down on the waterfront- close to subway stops and train (Amtrak & commuter rail at South Station). Comfortable bed. Hotel took preferences listed with booking (away from elevator) into account with my room assigned. Good views of Boston waterfront in hotel, may also have view of Boston Greenway and part of downtown from room. Walkable to waterfront, Faneuil Hall, North End, Downtown and other surrounding areas.

I was disrespected twice by the restaurant staff. Scenario one I was working on my laptop at a breakfast table and asked to leave while they questioned if I was a guest of the property. Scenario two, this evening the hostess told me and my wife to return later as there were opens tables everywhere. Being in the hospitality business I found this extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Spending $800 per night I could had stayed almost anywhere. I will not recommend or return to this property. The staff outside the restaurant was great but not worth anything over 2 star IMO.

This hotel was the perfect spot for our family of three visiting the aquarium and children’s museum. It really is a five star hotel- from the greeting at the door to the friendly staff and peloton’s and pool in the fitness center, everything was great. The pool had a relaxing chill vibe perfect for solo adults and calm children. Our child loves his new stuffed lobster and I loved a cool towel after my workout. We also discovered parts of “new” Boston that didn’t exist in the 90’s like the greenway with parks, playgrounds and carousel in walking distance to the hotel. There are lots of good restaurants, Starbucks, and food trucks in the neighborhood so you can get whatever you need nearby. Tip: check out the display of historic New England maps across from the restaurant.

Room smelled, housekeeping spray but did not worked . There was a fly in the room 🤢…the only ones that were friendly and helpful was doorman, bellman and concierge. Every tine you asked a question the answered was I don’t know. The only ones that help you if concierge is not available is the doorman or bellman. The experience was awful .

I wanted to celebrate my birthday big this year, and so my husband and I relied on Tyler to find us the best room possible, and boy did he!! Thank you Tyler for making our experience in Boston Incredible!! Thank you to the gentleman who checked us in at the front desk as he was kind and professional! I regret not getting his name. Thank you to the valets and staff all around who made our experience wonderful!! Nathan the concierge listened and CARED. Our breakfast was delicious, and the staff helpful in every way. My name is Karen Yelverton of Angelic Kreations, I'm writing to you about the wonderful service that I received during my stay at the Boston Westin hotel and restaurant. When I called the Westin to inform them my flight arrived early, Diana picked up the phone. There was no guarantee a room would be available, however after proactively listening to me, she heard in my voice I was tired. I shared I had an event the same evening. Diana put me on hold, came back and told me that there was a room available for me. When I walked into the hotel, I had the most welcoming greeting from the staff at the check in counter. Ronald greeted me with a cheerful smile, we laughed & smiled as if we were old friends (positive energy does that). I was booked into a clean, nice room with a view and given a discounted voucher to dine @ the hotel restuarant. I have a special health diet and often travel with my meals that only require reheating. The restaurant was closed and per my request the wonderful, considerate manager Mary sent a microwave to my room. The following day I was informed by Delta airlines that my flight would be delayed. I requested a late check out and it was granted. During that extended hour, I met Sharon who I found out later was Diana's daughter. Her approach, service with a smile, attention to detail, along with her consideration during my stay was greatly appreciated. I can't speak for everyone, however the staff members that I spoke to & met I can definitely speak on and on positively about Diana, Sharon, Ronald, Muhammad, & Mary. Thank you Westin. Please share this review with regional, corporate, and customer relations. Great work & workers deserve recognition, accolades and a increase in salary.
