Excellent service from the minute you walk in to the hotel to the time you check out. Everyone is so friendly. Rooms are exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The Lookout Rooftop Bar is a wonderful experience with heated igloos, firepits, and the newly added icebox and great drinks. The view is beautiful. We had the most delicious meal at Para Maria thanks to Chef Tatiana and incredible service from our awesome server, Che. This was our third stay at the Envoy and the only place we will stay while in Boston. A special thanks to the General Manager, Joe Mellia, who has a wonderful staff and was also incredibly helpful and welcoming during our visit.
I've stayed at this hotel three times now because it's the best hotel in the Seaport. I always have great views, it's close to shopping and restaurants, and the staff is great. I would like to point out if you go to the rooftop bar at night and you're older than 35 you might not like it. If you go earlier it will be fine. We opted to go to the downstairs bar instead where Steve was happy to take care of us - he was a real stand out.
Pros: Great location, walkable to downtown and throughout Seaport, very convenient. In my opinion, the hotel is overpriced (of course it has a rooftop bar, but anyone can go here, not limited to guests). There are plenty of other hotels in the surrounding area that would satisfy convenience. Comfy bed. Restaurant open/serving food until 11P. Cons: Rug was wet when I arrived (wet socks - yuck!) Hotel controls your room temperature (what??) You have a thermostat in your room but you're unable to control the temperature. If you ask the front desk, they'll tell you "engineering" can do so remotely (PS - engineering is not always available) and even when they do 'change the temp' nothing in the room changes. I was forced to sleep at an uncomfortable temperature for 3 nights and told there was essentially nothing they could do. An offered suggestion was to "open my window" (I stayed here in winter and it was snowing outside). I have never stayed somewhere and been unable to change the thermostat. Do not recommend (especially for the price)! …
This is by far my favorite hotel in Boston. First off, EXCELLENT location. In Seaport, which one of the newest and cleanest communities in Boston. Walking distance to some of the best seafood restaurants, breweries, grocery stores, and all your favorite shopping stores. Walking distance to Boston Harbor, Boston Tea Party Museum, and Boston children's museum. Literally in the middle of everywhere you want to be and close enough to either walk or short Uber around the city. Second, THE ROOM WAS IMMACULATE. Very clean, luxury/lifestyle feel. Beautiful view facing the river, comfortable bed, dimmed lights, beautiful walk-in shower. Third, THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. Anytime we needed something it came within a timely manner. Housekeepers were always smiling and accommodating. Restaurant staff was very friendly, especially the morning bartender with blonde hair (can't remember her name) You could tell everyone loved working there. Thank you for an amazing stay. We are already looking at reservations for next year.…
My partner and I stayed at the Boston Envoy for NYE and loved it. The hotel has tasteful style, the location is very convenient and walkable, our room had a lovely view, and the restaurant downstairs had great food and drinks. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.
The hotel is so modern and beautiful. The location was perfect. The view from my hotel and quick walk to shoppes was amazing. Most importantly, the staff made me feel special from the moment I arrived.
All around great experience at this hotel! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean. The food at the hotel restaurant and room service was top notch! Highly recommend staying at this hotel in one of the most convenient locations in Boston!
Hotel looks nice, then you stay in it. Walls are paper thin, had to listen to neighbors argue with their drama all night. No soap in bathroom, when we asked they said they don't have any? Then when I tried to use the pump shampoo and body wash in the morning - there is nothing in the bottles. Nice job!
From the moment we walked we were greeted by Evander and the front desk Stephanie and Valette ( the pregnant girl ) they were awesome with an excellent sense of humor ! On our next trip back hopefully we get to see the baby who we hope was born on Christmas so we can win the bet 😊 Fun times chilling at the Envoy 🥶
Wonderful stay at the envoy during the holidays. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The igloos at the rooftop bar were so cool, and Rachel and arianna were so lovely. 10/10 would recommend. The ott chocolate cocktail 🤌🏼
