I stay at The Inn at Longwood Medical frequently as I often have work in the area and I find this hotel to meet my needs very well. It is comfortable, clean, and quiet, to say nothing of being convenient. I find all of the...More
The hotel is so nice and clean. Great staff at the front desk. Very convenient for people that are going to the hospitals. Especially when you are going through a hard time. You can just leave the hospital and get a great meal at the...More
My room here was fine--comfortable, quiet, sunny--and the housekeeping staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has three significant problems, however. The Inn at Longwood is not the newest or fanciest hotel in Boston. It is however, ideally located for me near DFCI and other facilities. It really is walking distance to Fenway and all the good restaurants in that area. You may want to get...More
Stayed here for the Boston Marathon. Hotel put on a very nice reception for the runners after the marathon which was fun to meet other runners. Beds were very comfortable. Also Noah was very helpful and friendly during checking in and out !
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports
mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
