Due to a family member needing to be at the Hospital repeatedly for the last 2 years, I have been using the Longwood Medical sometimes weekly. Angel at the front desk as always helped with anything I have needed. Even when they are booked, he always finds a space for me. Angel is such a fitting name, in fact all of them are. You need to see Eddy in the restaurant for dinner who never forgets me and has already become a friend. And in the morning please see Beatrice. She is the sweetest person ever with her cheerful smile and caring way. You can't find a better staff!
I stayed at the hotel for 15 days and I was very well received by Gisele, from Brazil , she was super attentive and guided me in everything I needed! I recomend the hotel for everyone! You will not be disappointed!
This room was glorious! Lights on when I walked in, which isn't particularly green, but made me feel so welcome. The set-up of the two beds being end-to-end instead of next to each other made a corridor down the center which made the already spacious room seem even bigger. The small cushioned stool at the end of my bed was a great place to set my bag. The 'living room' was slightly separated from the bed area by small half walls which kept the open-air feel. There was a huge TV hung on the wall of the living room area, visible from the beds as well. The beds were comfy, lots of soft pillows and blankets. Overall the room was such a unique and beautiful layout, it was a fantastic stay.
This hotel is so much more than its upscale accommodations. The BEST thing about The Inn is the service and the people. Many of us who stay here are accompanying family members, like my son, on a dangerous and fretful journey. So here is my experience: My son was set to begin chemo at the Jimmy Fund Clinic. Hi cancer is aggressive and we are frightened and new to all of this. Cancer treatment is complicated and stressful, and I wanted no glitches. So I immediately booked a nonrefundable room to ensure that I could be near my child and get the rest I needed to be strong for him. The first day of his treatment, I am notified that the Jimmy Fund has booked us a room at the Inn, and now I am double booked. I immediately called the Inn and got....an angel named Angel. He said, "no problem, we will refund your original reservation, you just focus on your family". It was that easy. Let's honor Angel, the Jimmy Fund Clinic, and this wonderful, wonderful hotel that serves people in their most terrifying hours. Please patronize these beautiful people if you can. By the way, there is NO waiting time when you call. There is no IVR (those are the numbers they ask you press). Also, my husband works in customer experience and support as well, and I have worked in customer service. I KNOW stellar service when I see it. I wish those of you who need to stay at the Inn at Longwood health peace. I am adding a picture of my beautiful boy so you all know I am a real person.…
Angel and the front desk staff were great and very helpful! Room was nic and very clean. Location was convenient and it was generally very quiet. Renovations not too long ago make it quite updated. There are 2 Starbucks close by as well
The Reservation Manager and his colleague Angel were understanding and very helpful and resolved the issue I was dealing with and the date of my surgery. I will always use the Inn at Longwood for my overnight needs for my cancer surgery
Angel and staff were very friendly and helpful!!!! The room was very comfortable and clean!!! Thank you very much!! My wife had several appointments at Dana-Farber, and every time we stood at Longwood Medical Center we enjoyed the comforts and relaxation when we came back from each appointment. Thank you again!!! Ok hotel . According to me nothing good except the location for me because I had to attend harvard dental school which is 500 meters from the hotel . No one bothers about your stay, no one greets and no one would even care to ask you about the things you need . It’s like you rented a room and you are on your own. And it was very expensive I think because of convenience to Boston children hospital and many medical Centers around. Otherwise avoid.
Our visit to the Inn was made out of necessity but Angie made sure to make it as easy and friendly as possible. She was an essential part of our experience and helped us with traversing the city and making sure that we were as comfortable as possible during our time there. Thank you Angie!
My spouse was being treated at DanaFarber so I spent 24 days at The Inn. The staff are wonderful. I had to revise my stay 2x and Angal was always professional, courteous and understanding. The housekeeping staff on the 7th floor were great too. When you're there that long you get to know them & they were always helpful; assisting me in any requests for my room. The rooms are very nice; bed very comfortable. Having a small frig & microwave were great. I highly recommend The Inn for short (or long) accommodations in Boston.
