Charlestown’s hilly roads, narrow streets and gaslight lamps, make it an enticing neighborhood to visit. Follow the Freedom Trail over the Washington St bridge from the North End or take the scenic water locks to Paul Revere Park. Walk through City Square and stroll down cute Main street, wandering up the windy residential streets to Monument Square, where you can learn about the city’s history along with a great view of Boston at the Bunker Hill Monument. While it’s not a huge area, there are some excellent restaurants. Find your way to the Charlestown Navy Yard, which is a developing area with lots of condos and an additional site for Massachusetts General Hospital research centers. Here you will also find the USS Constitution Museum. After you’re done, hop on an MBTA ferry at the dock on Baxter street and zip on over to Long Wharf and the New England Aquarium.

How far is public transportation from your location? Our plans include Fenway Park, Freedom Trail, Back Bay Area, Harvard so we need availability to the T. Thank you!
Dear Stacy, Thank you for your inquiry! We are close to public transportation: an 8-minute walk to the "T" Community College stop on the subway Orange Line. We also 2 minutes' walk from the 92 or 93 bus stop to and from downtown. It is convenient and easy to travel to your destinations from here using the T. We are happy to answer further questions. Thank you, Elizabeth

We are booked to stay in late September. What would you advise is the best way to travel to the Suites after landing at Boston Logan airport please?
Dear Janine, I suggest a taxi from the airport initially. We are only a 10-15 minute ride by taxi (4 miles). If you take public transit, it is longer (45 minutes) because the airport is out on the harbor and there are line changes and transfers. Taxis are easily found outside all the airport terminals and cost $25-$35 because of airport tunnel tolls. Our address and other instructions for the driver are below. We look forward to welcoming you in Boston! Sincerely, Elizabeth Gittings owner Moroccan Luxury Suites Boston Our address is 8 Salem Street, Charlestown, Boston, MA 02129. The cross streets are Main Street and Salem Street Avenue. GPS coordinates: Latitude 42.377538 Longitude -71.066404 Directions: Be certain to ask for 8 Salem Street in the Charlestown neighborhood of Boston. There is another Salem Street in the North End (Little Italy) 2 miles from us! Some guests have ended up there by mistake. If using GPS, it is best to enter the zip code of 02129, and/or the coordinates above or it will take you to the other Salem Street.
