The hotel is located at the harbour, with easy access to great restaurants and conference facilities. Room was nicely setup. Loved the amount of power outlets, including ones in the bedside tables. Nice couch in the room and a starbucks in the lobby. What more could you ask for?

Due to its location, layout, and amenities, this hotel is perfect for a business meeting or a business trip. I found that most people staying here were staying for business and that makes sense, as the hotel has a great business center and space for meeting rooms. Like most Renaissance hotels, it features a clean, contemporary design and unlike nearby... More

Very nice clean hotel. Check in staff and the valet attendants were very nice and helpful. The room was very nice and clean, well maintained. Good location for walking around Boston to see the tourist sites.

This was a nice experience. The hotel and my room was kept very clean during my stay. The personnel was verry friendly, and more than once they helped me when I had internet connection or other problems. Also the restaurant was a nice experience, with good food and service minded personnel.

Stayed here for a wedding at the Exchange Conference Center. Enjoyed the close location to the wedding venue and great restaurants in the area. The room was OK - good Marriott beds and bedding and very clean bathroom. The walls are thin. Our neighbors returned from partying at 2 in the morning and kept us up for another hour. We... More

Stayed here 2 nights. Very clean and comfortable room. Conveniently located. 5-10 min walk to the waterfront attractions and restaurants. Easy access to the South station and airport via Silver Line 1 bus (across the street-Silver line way, near parking lot). There's a hop-on/hop-off station at the side entrance of the hotel. It's a nice walk to the Aquarium area.... More

The hotel is really bad. The room service and towel are old with lots of holes. Is really disgusting towels. I stayed for one week. Every day we were getting old towels that are not for a human use at all. Please see the pictures I have also a video to show you if you need that

This hotel was clean and comfortable. It is located in a nice area of Boston and near a metro stop. It is a bit pricey but it is close to everything. It is located close to lots of bars and restaurants if that is what you are looking for. Parking is available but cost us about $80 for two days.... More

When we arrived at the Renaissance we could not even pull into the small driveway. I was the first car on the street, and there were several that built up behind me. The driveway was being blocked by one car, all the valet had to do was ask him to pull all the way forward and everyone else could have... More

We stayed for one night while attending a wedding. Parking is expensive so we parked at Wellington Station and took the T in - very easy to access. Overall a very nice hotel. We were early and our room wasn't ready but they promised to call when it was ready and promptly did so less than 30 mins later, still... More

Staying in Seaport District / South Boston Waterfront

Neighborhood Profile
Seaport District / South Boston Waterfront
This area has been expanding and becoming more and more popular, for good reason. Not surprisingly, the seaport district of South Boston is located beautifully along the water. The area is designed for easy strolling along the HarborWalk, and there are bars and restaurants for all ages and budgets. The Institute of Contemporary Art is located in this area in a contemporary building with an absolutely stunning deck overlooking the water. In the summer time there are Friday music concerts on the deck of the museum. Nearby, there are many green spaces to enjoy.
