Staff is super nice and friendly, the rooms are clean and nicely decorated and the location is close to a metro stop. Breakfast is limited but we did not mind. We would highly recommend this hotel also for families.

From the moment we arrived, I knew I had finally done something right on google.:) Not only was the one-and-only Fenway just a few steps away, but there was a fun Rock 'n' Roll van and a friendly door-man right there, smiling and willing to take our multiple animated "We are here!" dual family group pictures. We entered the cool,...

I love this hotel! It made me smile the whole time I was there. The music decor, the old records, the record players, the proximity to Fenway park. And the staff are super nice and friendly. Fun and reasonably priced independent hotel. I highly recommend it!

Stayed one night before seeing Northeastern University and Boston College. We were graciously allowed an early check in. Really funky place, easy check in. Great stuff to look at. Room is neat, with an awesome retro-chic vibe. The space is very efficiently used but there is no additional room for anything extra (if I needed a crib or pack and...

My son and I stayed at the Verb hotel April 9 - 11. My son had tours at the nearby Universities. We loved the hotel, the service and the decor. It is located at the center of everything. We took pictures at Fenway park, toured MIT and Harvard. We did Uber a few times as we walked so much. We...

Loved the ambience, the efficiency of the room, the lighting, the beds were comfy. Shower and bathroom is adorable. There is a pool here, too. I just loved the whole thing. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Hotel has a very cool vibe. Staff are all very helpful and happy. We had a very relaxing stay at the hotel, even with a very excitable 5 yr old Great location for Fenway Park and easy to get into the centre of the city.

The Verb's Vibe and Staff cannot be beat, near Fenway, great restaurants and movie theatre. Love that they have guitars in front lobby so I don't have to bring mine and jam sessions pop up now and then. With turntables in the room and a bin to pick from in lobby it really is the place for those who love...

The vibe at The Verb is contagious. Even made a 17 yr old boy loosen up;) The moment you enter it is a wonderful nostalgic walk through musical history. The fact you get to choose from albums to bring to your room and show your child what it was like when you listened to your fav's was priceless. The hotel...

The Verb has a great location steps away from Fenway Park and less then a mile to downtown Boston (Back Bay area). The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean and had everything that I needed for an amazing weekend. The onsite restaurant Hojoko had excellent sushi and was reasonably priced.

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighborhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
