We stayed here while in Boston for a concert.....#1 Not sure why it says "waterfront" because it is not. If you are lucky you may get a room with a limited view of the water. It was very expensive and the staff was not overly friendly. We returned from the concert fairly late and wanted to order pizza so we...

So we had a large annual meeting here, it carried it off perfectly, the rooms were clean, it was big enough for a meeting with 500+ people easily, it didnt feel cramped or uncomfortable. The meeting rooms are perfectly well equipped, the large ball room worked well as a main auditorium, the AV and services were all first rate. In...

We stayed for a weekend in January for an event at the convention center which is attached by an indoor bridge. There are no food options near this hotel so you are captive to the one restaurant, the lobby bar and a starbucks. Our first night there the restaurant in the hotel had 1 hour wait so we tried the hotel...

Typical outstanding service from Westin staff. Several dining choices... try the Harpoon Winter in the bar in the lobby. MJ O'Conners is a fun spot with good food and lots of beer choices. Steak tips were very good. Deep fried cheesecake sounded better than it was... but it is so different...get another desert and share.

Decided to do something different for New Year's and settled on the Westin Boston Waterfront. Easy location to find and quiet , safe neighborhood for walking. Hotel had everything we needed, from good restaurants to a comedy club on the premises. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were courteous and very helpful.

The Westin is located next to the convention center, so it is a convenient location if you are attending an event. it is also close to other hotels and within walking distance to the harbor and a number of restaurants, bars, and attractions. It is a short drive or Uber ride to other places of note including historical sites and...

Gorgeous property centrally located near many pertinent historic sites, and adjacent to both the convention center we were in town for, as well as a highway to reach any other sites in New England one would want to venture to. The food and service was deserving of the Westin name, and we were not disappointed. The hot tub, gym and...

The staff was professional and very helpful. Above all, James the Doorman stood out head and shoulders. From the moment we pulled up he was friendly, helpful and informative. He made my family feel welcome and like we were celebrities. He is certainly an exceptional ambassador for the hotel and is a major reason we would stay there again!

First time at this hotel to enjoy New Year's Eve and catch a Bruins game with my family. Location is great, a short walk to many nice restaurants. TD Garden is a 35 minute walk, very easy. Upon arrival we were upgraded to the top floor with a beautiful view of the city. I suggest you make sure you ask...

Staying in Seaport District / South Boston Waterfront

Neighborhood Profile
Seaport District / South Boston Waterfront
This area has been expanding and becoming more and more popular, for good reason. Not surprisingly, the seaport district of South Boston is located beautifully along the water. The area is designed for easy strolling along the HarborWalk, and there are bars and restaurants for all ages and budgets. The Institute of Contemporary Art is located in this area in a contemporary building with an absolutely stunning deck overlooking the water. In the summer time there are Friday music concerts on the deck of the museum. Nearby, there are many green spaces to enjoy.
