Great location and price. The room was clean and tidy. Plenty restaurants around, the T station just 5 min. walk. We will stay there again :) The one downside is: There is no breakfast available, but it was no problem for us.

I picked this hotel because of its location. I'm an author and needed to spend research time at the Boston Public Library. This hotel was only 2 blocks from the library. Plus the Copley location is superb. Such a beautiful area of the city. I loved this hotel except for the beds. I stayed in a room with my sister...

Great location and price. We had a blast. Went to see the theater and eat at Erbaluce. Magical stay for my wife and I who stayed here 4 years ago when we got engaged. We have been back several times since then. When staying in Boston, we always make sure we can stay at Hotel 140.

Love Boston, the hotel has a perfect location. We walked around to Fanueil Hall, Newbury St, Boylston St, Boston Common etc. We looked at the surroundings and the things we supposed to look at. The hotel had clean rooms, the toilet and showers was allright and clean. It was wi-fi everywhere👍🏽. It was quiet in the corridors except one evening/night......

Great value for a good price. Perfect location, near all the hotspots, restaurants, train station. Perfect if you arrive on Boston Logan Airport. Take the orange bus to Back Bay and get out on Copley Square. The hotel is right on the corner.

I booked this hotel mainly because of the location. Sure enough, it was only a 10 minute walk to the Boston Commons. There are many restaurants and stores to shop nearby, as well. The room was small but clean and pretty artsy.

Although the size of the room was very "cosy", amenities were clean and mattress comfortable. A constant humming noise through the night, (heating?) was quite disturbing for sleeping. The addition of a bedside table on"my"side of the bed on which to put my cup of tea would have greatly improved my stay.

It was my first time traveling to Boston with my friend. We loved the hotel very much! The rooms were modern and clean. The staff was great! Very friendly and did everything they could to keep us comfortable. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will stay there the next time I visit Boston!

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
