Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.

Excellent location for house of blues. If driving look for the "parking package" found under special packages header. Great breakfast buffet. Appreciate that it is offered until 11 am. If u want late checkout u have to request in advance

is there free parking?
No. It costs $48 per day, but we were told that if you drop off your car and pull it out of the hotel parking before midnight switching to street parking you can avoid the charge.

How convenient is this to popular dining/bar options?
Some good places near Fenway. Cask N Flagon was good. Copley Square is a bit of a walk and has lots of good restaurant choices. Better restaurants are in the North End. Marriott Long Wharf is over that way and a very nice hotel.

Is there a courtesy vehicle for the airport, if not what is the taxi rate?
We paid $41.40 but I am a fairly generous tipper. I don't recall how much I left for a tip but I would assume at least 20%.
