The Onyx staff were so friendly. helpful and caring, This was our 5th hotel stay , all were good but the staff at the Onyx were exceptional. I suffered an injury to my leg during our stay and I was provided with a wheelchair and ice pack. One of the staff went to the nearest pharmacy for bandages and pain... More

The location of the Onyx is great but the stand out plus were the staff. Friendly and helpful. My friend had an accident in Boston when we returned to the hotel they were fantastic I will certainly stay there again.

I have stayed at this hotel three times in the last 12 months. Each time I enjoyed my stay. It's a short uber ride away from both Cambridge and the CBD which makes it very convenient for me since I don't have to pay Cambridge prices. The food is surprisingly very good for a small bar/kitchen. The bar staff are... More

Not impressed with the location or the friendliness of the staff. Was put in a handicap room without being asked and it did not suit our needs. I'm disappointed that my first stay in Boston was not a positive one. I don't know if I will return here.

Picked kimpton because we are karma members. Wasn't sure of Boston location but as always kimpton is in the center of everything. Walking distance to little italy, quincy market, waterfront and all fun bars and restaurants. Yes, rooms are small, but it's a boutique hotel, not an efficiency . Clean, friendly and not to forget the wine hour in lobby.... More

The hotel location is great, and for the price not sure what to think...except for the expensive soaps, it is much the same as a Hampton Inn. The bed is as comfortable...the service equal. The yoga mat in the rooms is a mystery. Why would anyone wish to share one with someone else? The exercise room is small, but has... More

I travelled to Boston on business, and was extremely impressed and satisfied with this Kimpton experience. The room was on the smaller side, but I hardly spent anytime in there anyway. The wine hour at 5pm is awesome - with your choice of red or white, it's nice to join other guests in the lobby and kickback with a glass... More

Like many Kimpton hotels, this one is a bit quirky. The room was pretty small, but well appointed and comfortable. The front desk service was friendly and helpful. I never used the lobby bar but it appeared to be nice, if noisy - really the whole lobby is the bar, or so it appeared. The hotel is on a somewhat... More

My husband and I stayed here while visiting our younger son who lives in Boston. We've been coming to Boston for eight years as both of our sons went to college here and now the one lives here but we had never stayed at this particular Kimpton. We had stayed at the one in Cambridge. The hotel was in a... More

Stayed here for a few days in June, 2016 with my teenage son. Highly suggest visiting Boston in June, the weather was absolutely gorgeous. All hotel is convenient to the T: use green line North Station Valenti Way street exit. Easy walking distance to North End. Boston is a walking and public transport city, no car needed. This was my... More
