I was looking for a good clean place to sleep for the one night I had in Boston. I wasnt looking for frills or a lot of extra's and the college club provided more than expected. The room was small and there was no tv and I did share a bathroom. However i was only in the room to sleep,...

I really enjoyed my stay here. Very familiar ambiance and personal service in combination with a perfect location. I stayed in a lovely, large room with a fire place, armchairs and overall great interior design. However, if you want 24h full hotel service and/or a TV in your room, you should stay somewhere else. Good breakfast was included and free...

Fabulous place to stay. The manager, Donald, bent over backwards to help us out with accommodation at short notice. He also had fantastic recommendations for restaurants and activities and was so helpful. The rooms were beautiful - especially the double, although the singles were a little more crowded and less picturesque. Overall great accommodation

Found the place on this website and soooooo glad I did. It was very low key, the staff was super nice and the breakfast was fresh and tasty. The rooms were large and very nice. Like others said, no tv, but we didn't miss it. Great location as well. Oh and GREAT price.

I accidentally found this place, and I was so glad that I did! It is a lovely bed and breakfast in a fabulous Victorian townhouse. I was in a single room and shared bath, but it was really no big deal. I never saw the other person, so there was no waiting for the bathroom to become free. The continental...

We stayed in a top floor corner room with really cool views of the city. There were three of us, so we got a room that had two twin beds and a roll away cot, and a private bathroom. The continental breakfast was really nice. I loved not having a TV and the shower head was awesome! The location is...

This is a wonderful bed & breakfast in the heart of Boston. Location couldn't be more perfect, and the rooms are great. The decor is rather traditional, so don't come here if you're looking for chic and modern! You also won't get a TV, but you will get an over sized room (the double rooms are big, single rooms, not...

I stated here for two days and loved every minute of it! I stayed in a single room and shared a bathroom with one other person but I never saw her so I felt like it was my private bathroom. The room was great with everything you could need. But the best thing about this is definitely the staff -...

I recently stayed at The College Club of Boston during a business trip to Boston. The College Club is very centrally located in Commonwealth Avenue, right next to the Boston Common and some serious shopping locales. It is in a narrow brownstone, and parking is very limited. There is some 2 hour meter parking around the corner but only resident...

My husband and I stayed here in early June where I was attending a college reunion. Full disclosure...I lived next door for six years and am very partial to the neighborhood. That said, the location is near perfect, close to the Public Garden ,the upscale shops on Newbury Street and Copley Place, Trinity Church, Beacon Hill and an easy walk...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
