This was our second time staying at the Taylor House, and it was just as great as we remembered it. It is less than a block away from Jamaica Pond, with a great walking trail, and two blocks from a great downtown with shops and...More

Stayed here 3 nights when spouse & I visited son and wife and grandchildren nearby. Expected elegance and immaculate surroundings – found a nice setting but with some glitches. TV in our room did not work for example; found someone’s umbrella under the bed. Rarely...More

I stayed at Taylor House primarily for a business trip, but my husband and baby came along for the trip. While I worked during the days, my family had a lovely neighborhood--good restaurants, scenery and access to public transport-- to explore. Our time at Taylor...More

This Boston neighborhood feels like a distinct
community unique and separate from the bustle of other
areas. Beautiful Victorian homes, restaurants with an
emphasis on being eco-friendly and providing local and
organic food, and a large Hispanic community. Visit
Centre and South streets for restaurants, cafes, and
little shops. The Arnold Arboretum is a beautiful,
large green space well worth a visit if you venture to

Yes, there's parking available! To get into the central area of downtown Boston, I'd recommend driving, using Uber, or using public transportation (there's a bus stop and an MBTA subway station close to the B&B).
