We live very near to Boston, and had never heard of this unique "hotel". Found it by accident while looking for a different place. So glad we did! We stayed on the Rozinante for one night in August just as a birthday celebration. It is a 57 foot sailboat, with 2 bedrooms, 1 and a half bathrooms, and a comfortable living room and a nice deck. It has a great location on Constitution Wharf near to the USS Constitution. It is within fairly easy walking distance to the Italian North End, and the view from the deck is really unique. The owner was readily available to answer questions. The price was reasonable. And the boat has a hot tub next to the master bedroom. The only downside would be for anyone with limited mobility, getting up and down from below deck would be difficult.

Came up to Boston on business and boss booked the Port for me. Coming from more of a landlocked city, I was initially weary of staying on a boat for a night and getting a good night sleep without waking up a few times to quell my dizziness. To my surprise, I slept like a baby being rocked to sleep by the waves. Nice sized bed and bathroom with a refrigerator, coffee maker and TV. Unfortunately despite following the directions that were written in the handy travel guide provided, I couldn’t get the TV to turn on. No worries though for the amount of time I spent actually on the boat. Now for those who are landlubbers and not used to this seafaring (riverfaring?) life, taking a shower in the morning was a little bit...odd. Feeling like you’re going to fall over as you try to lather up. Going to work the next morning, it took a few hours to get over the feeling that my computer monitors were moving on me. These, however, were all personal problems and do not take away from the experience of sleeping on a boat, albeit for one night.

I had always wanted to visit Boston, so my husband and I spent a week incorporating the Labor Day holiday in Massachusetts. We opted to stay at Bed & Breakfast Afloat. We rented "Port." The location is excellent for walking the city or jumping on any of the many tourist trolleys that go through the parking lot for visitors to The Constitution. We could see "Old Ironsides" from the patio of the boat. Port is not big, but it is adequate and we are not small people. The bathroom was actually surprisingly spacious for the size of the "boat." To sum it up, it was lots of fun and I would recommend it for a change from the "every day."

We stayed in/on the Rozinante sailboat for four nights. The location, boat, staff - everything was great. Great views, great location to walk to nearly any point of interest in Boston or Charlestown. We had a great time and highly recommend.

Fun! This was a unique place to spend our nights in Boston! The Marina is close to downtown, right on the Freedom trail, steps from Constitution museum, close to the hop on/hop off busses so lots of ways to get to and from it. Limited restaurants in the area, but enough. I would recommend them, and I would stay there again!
