We stayed at this hotel after attending a concert at the Orpheum. The rooms were clean and good sized. Robes were a bit "stiff". After the concert, we came back to the room to a nice treat of cupcakes and water. We did visit the club/bar upstairs but learned that we are too old for that crowed ;-) I do...

Hip Boutique hotel that's very centrally located in Boston. Good for business or pleasure. I'm a fan of Kimpton Hotels and this is a great property of theirs. The service is always very friendly and accommodating. The decor is a good balance of hip and upscale. The bar on the second floor is a good meet up spot that seems...

My boyfriend and i have stayed here a few times. Each time it was so easy to park the car with valet and scoot right to our room. The rooms are modern clean and have great views of the park. They have a great restaurant in the hotel and the location is perfect for roaming the city! Great hotel in...

This little boutique hotel in the heart of Boston is a must! Location is perfect for all of your Boston adventures. Staff is fabulous, rooms are clean and chic, bed is very comfortable. My scale, is there noise other then what I'm making? Is there dirt in the little corners of the bathroom? Would you enjoy lounging for a few...

This hotel is big on hype, but very short on everything else. In particular, it is a special level of dirty - not just the random dust behind the tv that is almost to be expected at quirky hotels, this place seems to go out of its way to be a mess. The warning signs are the trash in the...

The hotel is in a great location. Our room was excellent with nice big beds and a large bathroom. The staff were very attentive and despite the New Years Eve party on the night we arrived, we couldn't hear any noise from our room. We wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again. Probably the best hotel stay I've ever had.

generally a good experience. The room was average size and classic design.in general this is an older hotel which is been renovated nicely. Food and bar area was also good. The best part of the hotel was location in Copley Square.

We were attending a concert at the nearby Orpheum theater (which is in desperate need of an upgrade, or at the very least a good cleaning) and the Kimpton Nine Zero Hotel was the perfect choice. Walking distance to the theatre and to the common, as well as multiple restaurants. The lobby has the usual Kimpton touches of complementary wine...

This hotel is a great find. Even though it's part of a 'chain' it has a wonderful, boutique feel to it. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you feel at home and have everything you need. The design is eclectic and fun and everything is very clean. I strongly recommend joining their rewards program (Kimpton Karma). It's free...

A nice hotel! Very good location and can walk everywhere. A few things... the Hotel does allow pets. We saw a few barking dogs when we checked in. Views from room, depends on what you pay for :) Our queen room was very small and bed seemed like a full. But very comfy! Great shower. Weird but no water in...

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
