I had a great stay. I got an upgraded room, definitely ask for a room on a higher floor. The room was clean, the bed was not as comfortable but it was ok. I also ordered room service which was very good and delivered quickly. The location was great to walk to quince market, coffee and the freedom trail.

We stayed at the Nine Zero Hotel on Tremont St. It is the perfect hotel for waking the freedom trails in downtown Boston. The rooms are great, the staff is exceptional and every employee we meet ask how are we doing and can they help us. Andrew is very helpful in telling us how to get around Boston and the...

We've stayed at a few other Kimpton hotels and while the decor was a bit dated and not up to par with others we've stayed at, the outstanding service and convenient location made it well worth it. They changed my reservation at the last minute to Nine Zero from Onyx because I wanted to be closer to Boston Common and...

We have previously stayed at the Kimpton hotels in Aspen and Salt Lake City so we were eager to try this one too! We usually stay at the Copley Plaza Hotel while visiting Boston, but decided to try Nine Zero. My husband, son and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. We especially liked the cocktail hour where we...

If you are looking for a room with 2 queen beds, avoid the Kimpton Nine Zero the way you'd avoid a plague. You'll be staring at a wall and it will be totally depressing--not worth it--many other options in town with a better view. The only queen rooms in the hotel face a wall--they have a few skyline rooms but...

I recently stayed here and everything about it was absolutely great. I noted that it was for a birthday when booking and they surprised me with sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries! Amazing experience, would definitely recommend!

I contacted the concierge and she gave me several great ideas for things to do and places to eat even before we arrive. The room was nice, but I couldn't get comfortable with the pillows that seemed to completely collapse - and every change of channel on the TV took 5 seconds to tune in.

We generally stay with Kimpton when we visit the States and this time was no exception. We had booked a skyline king for five nights on a particular rate called Stay 5 and Save....when we arrived we were given a room that was on the small size and had a very bad configuration as well as only one chair. Why...

I stayed here for a long weekend with my boyfriend, both of us from NY and this was our first trip to Boston. I booked my reservation through Kate in sales.....she knocked it out the park! I stayed here for a week in November. I was attending a conference in the financial district so the location worked well (5min walk). The hotel is very close to great attractions also - plenty to do for a longer stay. The front desk was very helpful and the service was great.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
