The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.

Haven’t been here in years and so glad to have a celebratory date night at the Nine Zero! I love the renovation. The lobby feels like a city hideaway, crafted cocktails at Better Sorts Social Club made us want to stay inside and the staff was at the top of their game throughout the hotel with warm and welcoming suggestions on a snowy day. Splurge for the suite! The view and the furnishings feel curated and special- like your friend’s house that always looks perfect but somehow you feel comfortable kicking your feet up and staying a while. The city literally at your footsteps. As a Bostonian- it reminded me how lucky I am to live in this historic city full of modern edge and constant change. If you are visiting from out of town, you’ll feel like you found the city in a way no one else has. Will make this an annual overnight visit!

My wife and I were celebrating a job promotion with a night out in Boston. We chose to stay at the Nine Zero and could not have made a better decision! When we arrived it was around 4:00, so there was a short line to check in. However, the manager was very engaging and made sure to ask those in line whether they were checking in or if there was something else he may be able to help them with. Fortunately, we only had to wait a few minutes to check in and when we did, we were shocked to find out that they upgraded us to their Penthouse Suite!! (My wife must have mentioned we were celebrating when she made the reservation). When we got up to the room we were truly blown away. This is by far the nicest room we’ve ever stayed in! On the top floor with spectacular views of the entire city, the Common, the State House, Charles river, etc. The suite was huge and even had a pool table! We also loved that it was filled with unique artwork and fun items like a record player and a selection of classic records. The location of the hotel is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city directly on the Freedom trail and within easy walking distance to the Boston common, Faneuil Hall, and a wide variety of bars and restaurants right outside their doors. We started our evening at the hotel’s restaurant, Better Sorts Social Club and enjoyed some outstanding cocktails. The bar was busy, but not too crowded and had a very cool vibe. Since this is our favorite part of Boston, we stayed nearby for dinner and walked a couple blocks to Yvonne’s (which was also outstanding). Thank you to the Nine Zero for providing us with a truly memorable experience that we will never forget!!

Stayed here Nov 9 for 2 nights. For those who may search through TA: No recognition of the invite-only Kimpton Inner Circle status (nor IHG Spire Elite). Not even a note in the room... From all the Kimpton properties I've stayed, this was definitely the most disappointing stay in terms of recognition. The hotel and, my room, was a let down too. Perhaps I overpaid for my stay/rate, but as I hadn't been in Boston in years, I was excited to check out this hotel, especially as it has won numerous awards. I'm not sure why. The rooms are tiny... like you're in New York, except, you're not... The room felt worn. The hotel did too. For $400-500/night, I was expecting (a lot) more. The location is great, but, overall, the stay did not leave me with a luxurious feeling, and I was eager to check out of the property... I brought the problems to the attention to the front desk, and I even called IHG to inform them, but unfortunately no corrections were made.

Nice hotel, good location, and excellent front staff. Rooms are small, but nice. I think the rooms could use more lighting, but overall nice. No surprises and occasionally you can find a fair price as they can range based on demand, etc.
