The Farrington used to be a pretty good deal. It was simple, but always clean, and the people were nice. It is no longer that way. The last two times I have stayed there it has been filthy, and the rooms appeared not to have been cleaned between customers. I wrote to the owner, and he called to apologize. But...

Abslutely disgusting. Compared to other hostels around the world this one was Worse than ones in thrid world countries. seriously. I was bitten by bed bugs and got pink eye. The room I stayed in smelled like someone had smoked a carton of cigarettes in it , then sprayed the pillows with cheap cologne. The sheets were not clean-- I...

As soon as you get to this place you know you have reached a little treasure! Its charm and welcoming smell invite you in to a romantic and cosy little den, if you like going budget you will love it, just as I did. Its almost like camping outdoors, you have the bugs, the creepy noises, the weird location and...

We stayed!. Well, for just under an hour and then booked into a suite at the DoubleTree for $30 more. We exchanged our one bed, no facilities or A/C for a suite further out of town. Not convenient but life would never have been the same if we stayed!!!!! It was that bad. We understood that this was not an...

This is a difficult place to find since it is basically a converted student house whose interior must date back at least 50 years! We were greeted by DJ, a greaseball whose existence really had no point since every time we wanted to ask a question we were passed the phone and addressed rudely by the manager who apparently could...

Great place - I must say it's totally geared for ultra budget travel, no frills, and lots of college kids, but these places are getting harder and harder to find. Ask for the rooms with no airconditioning -they're even cheaper than the ones they list on the internet.

The most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. Arrived to a dirty room. Still trash in the trash can, used glasses in the wash basin and stained sheets. The room was infested with bugs. We were eaten alive by bed bugs. I would not recommend this establishment to my worst enemy.

We arrived to find the room dirty with trash in the bins and unmade beds. We rang the manager and he managed to get someone to give the room a quick once over. After the first night we were covered in bites from bed bugs , not that we could sleep anyways as there was no aircon and the street...
