I had an AMAZING stay at the W Boston. My friends and I visited for a nearby wedding. It was a flawless stay, throughout. Each detail was carefully attended to, and Gildas from the front desk was fantastic. Highly recommended. The location and service are the best!

I typically don't like W Hotels, because the lobby area is usually loud with club music and they are usually dark with small rooms. This W didn't have the annoying music and the room was all whites, clean and beautiful. We had a corner room. The view wasn't much but the room was great. The concierge was EXCELLENT! I used...

W is in the center of Boston's Arts district; their great valet staff helped us get in (and out) of the hotel easily. The good: very hip room design, liked the furniture and fixtures & wall-mounted tv. The bad: too soft mattress, no light in the shower (showering in the dark?), noisy halls. Mixed: the lounge bar is packed with...

Hi YaleDad, Thanks for joining us at W Boston and for taking time to write a review! I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us overall. Apologies about the wifi, as this is not up to our standards of a tech-forward hotel. In fact, we're replacing our equipment very soon to make sure it doesn't happen again....

The hotel is located in the heart of the Theatre district. It is very convenient to see many sites in Boston. The hotel has a unique vibe. The lounge area is lively and busy most nights, especially on the weekend. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Most of all, the service was first class. Everyone was attentive and very courteous....

Great location in Theatre District. Kind of geared to younger crowd, live music in bar when you walk in, bar area is loud. Small but nice rooms, walk to anywhere and fabulous Bliss products. Lots of shows, bars and restaurants around. Concierge Lauren is great, gave us all good recommendations.

Tiffany Sheehan was a great organizer, and all of our servers/chefs that day were great -- Amy, Melissa, Caroline, Llamby, Adam, Tatianna and Chef Darren. Tiffany really went out of her way leading up to the shower to get on conference calls, bounce off ideas on themes, games, etc. She even did our adorable centerpieces for us on the weekend,...

Had a nice 2 night stay at the W Boston for our family trip to tour Boston. We were lucky to book this gem via Hotwire. Awesome location for walking the city, as well as catching the T to Fenway. Stayed here for a night with my boyfriend while in the theater district to see Bill Burr. Right across from the Wilbur and walking distance to great restaurants/bars/nightlife. The staff was attentive and friendly. The hotel is just like all other W properties, but the view in this section of Boston is great! Would definitely stay again

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
