Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.

I was in Boston this past weekend and had the most wonderful time at the hotel. It is a cute, boutique hotel in the Back Bay area of Boston. It is located at a walking distance from Newbury Street, Prudential Center, Northeastern University, Berklee School of Music. The look & feel of the rooms is very modern and very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and the complimentary breakfast of baked goods, bread, cereal, fruits and Nespresso is very nice. They have a complimentary supply of non-alcoholic beverages and yogurt in their dining area and provide 2 complimentary bottles of Fiji Water at check-in and during each cleaning. They also keep complimentary baked goods (croissants, muffins, biscottis, cookies etc.) in the dining area. They have a very cosy common area with a decent stock of reading material. The only downside is lack of adequate car parking nearby. You can do paid parking (pretty reasonable pricing) from 8am to 6pm on the surrounding residential streets, find a spot on one side of the Newbury Street that allows for non-residential overnight parking or you can do overnight parking at the Prudential Center garage for $40, which is a hefty price to pay IMO. We managed to find overnight parking spots on Newbury Street. However, the lady at the front desk did not offer any such options apart from the Prudential Center overnight parking. It would be nice for the hotel to have complimentary permit parking cards for their guests.

Love this hotel, they give you slippers and a robe and all the soda and snacks downstairs are free and available all night. The bed is really comfortable and there is a glass plates and cups as well as as a sink in the rooms. I gave it 4 stars because unfortunately there is no close parking nearby and when it's cold this is important. Also because the room doors where I was are close to each other and they don't close soft. My neighbor was slamming in and out of their room all night.

I recently had to make a last-minute trip to Boston and was fortunate enough to book the last remaining room at No. 284. Ideally located, it overlooks the trees of Commonwealth Ave but is only a block from the shopping and dining options of Newbury St. The staff was a delight to work with: Aura in the front office was a wealth of knowledge, and everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was well-stocked, including a mini-kitchen, and the library on the main floor is a great place to catch up on work or enjoy breakfast/tea service. You'll find all your essentials covered and then some; indeed, the hotel distinguishes itself by its attention to detail and small touches. Truly a gem, I would book here again in a heartbeat.

This is one of my favourite places that I have stayed, ever. My husband and I stayed for 5 nights and we can not fault any aspect of our stay. The location is perfect and there are lots of bars and restaurants near by. Fenway is also in walking distance. The staff were more than just extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay; they were genuine and down to earth during all of our discussions which made us feel welcome instantly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Dan even rescued my necklace that I stupidly dropped down the sink. Thank you again Dan. Our room (petite queen) was the perfect size for the two of us and the bed was extremely comfortable. The complimentary breakfast every morning was simple and delicious, with a number of drinks available throughout the day. We would definitely recommend for someone to stay here and when we return to Boston, we hope to stay here again. Thank you for a fantastic experience!
