I stayed here on a business trip for 1 week. It was the worst accommodation experience of my life and I have stayed in some pretty bad hostels when I was younger. There was a used condom underneath one bed, there was a girls bracelet underneath another bed. The wifi did not work in my room The lobby was filthy,...

I think I couldn't find a better location to stay. It's close to everything, including subway that takes you everywhere. I was very well receptioned. The bedrooms are confortable and clean. There is a little kitchen, well equipated to make a meal. I would certainly stay again.

I stayed for about 8 nights which racked up a bit of a price. However, the place itself incredibly charming. I had a great room with a recently renovated bathroom and spacious interior. The kitchenette would of made any cooking a little difficult, but since I basically had take-out it was fine. The cable was good and I found the...

When you walk in there are stairs and no elevator. 2 floors. There is no oven. 2 eyes on the stove (if that's how you spell "eye" for a stove). There is no hot water until you officially check in (I came in at 12 am). Parking is terrible. The blanket on the bed is thin but you can gage...

We stayed 9 nights which set us back 2800$ - not exactly a budget stay, so we had certain expectations. We did like the great location, the charming building and our room a lot. It was like having a cozy home away from home since we were given the keys and could come and go as we pleased without passing...

The location is great - a typical old-style brick residence in Back Bay, close to Newbury and Boylston Street shops and restaurants as well as supermarkets, easy walking to a few green MBTA stops in Back Bay... a great place also to walk to the Boston Public Garden and Boston Common. There was free wifi and cable TV. The staff:...

We were staying a really great hotel, but needed another night, so we decided to go online for one closer to Downtown Boston so we could be ready for an early flight out. The place was advertised online as "comfortable, fashionable rooms, with private kitchens and baths. It showed in a slideshow rooms with a sitting area, couch and beds,...

Slow wifi, unhelpful staff, room with a bad odour, noisy guests outside the room on a couple of nights. Not a place I'll be returning to anytime soon. The only plus to the venuie is it's excellent location.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
