Had a very comfortable stay in Copley Staff. Stayed there for a month and the staff was extremely cooperative and supportive through the whole visit. Always tried their best to solve our problem in shortest possible time. We had a heating problem and they checked several times to make sure it was working. Due to massive snowstorm in Boston we...

You're very welcome, Waqar! It's been a pleasure for our team to get to know you this month, and we sincerely appreciate your continued support. Glad to hear you managed to stay comfortable during this snowstorm -- we'd never dream of letting our guests live without a working heater in weather like this. I can't thank you enough for your...

We had no hot water for the first night and the next morning. We were in apartment 205. Our last night there was a fight in the hall that woke us up at 1am. It was very scary. I called the management three times and no one has returned my call.

Please accept my apologies for your experience here. While I understand how uncomfortable our other guests must have made you, rest assured that this isn't a common problem -- we'll try harder to deal with such incidents more carefully in the future. I also apologize for the issue with the water. Our maintenance team was out first thing in the...

I traveled to Boston in November and stayed for 10 days while there for medical reasons. To find the best deals, I ended up moving around and staying at four different hotels. I was at Copley House for only one night during the week. My overall experience was good, and I like the concept of several different brownstones/buildings - this...

Glad our rooms made you feel at home! You can always count on our neighborhood for that classic Boston feel. Sorry the construction made things a little inconvenient for you -- while we can assure you this isn't a common issue for our guests, you're right that we should have warned you in advance (we'll be more considerate next time)....

Helpful staff, excellent location, very reasonable rates for downtown Boston. Location is close to Museum of Fine Arts, Copley, Prudential Center, & Back Bay. The hotel arrangement is unusual: small efficiency units in brownstones scattered around a couple of blocks. Having a small kitchen was great.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay! The kitchen is just one of the many ways we try to set our experience apart from a traditional hotel's, so it's nice to know our efforts didn't go unappreciated. I'd love to have you stay with us again during your next Boston trip! Sincerely, Christian - General Manager

Stayed here for a conference being held at a much pricier large hotel nearby. (And got stuck for an extra day by the "Blizzard of 2015..) Clean, very helpful staff, liked the room (especially the kitchenette because the weather caused a lot of restaurants to be closed), and it's literally a 3 minute walk to Prudential and Copley Centers. My...

Compliment taken, Rob! It's our goal to provide a more cozy experience than a traditional hotel might, and we're thrilled that you enjoyed the change of pace (glad the kitchenette came in handy, too). We appreciate your feedback, and we hope you'll see us again during your next Boston trip. Sincerely, Christian - General Manager

I am very happy with my stay at Copley House. Nice clean room, free wi-fi, friendly staff, 15 minutes walking distance to Common Public and Prudential just around the corner. What do you need more to have great time in Boston?

I was in Boston in October 2014, and decided to stay at this hotel. It is a little way off from the subway station, but you can walk there from BackBay train station in about 10 minutes, which was great for me since i arrived by train. The room was great, it was more of a studio apartment really. Nice...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
