The hotel is a bit older but you would never know. This team is amazing. The night auditors at night, frontdesk, and especially the breakfast attendant Grace. My children and mother loved her and are still talking about her!!! She was so kind and showed my kids how to use the pancake machine. She is a great addition to their...

Walking distance to the North End makes it a great place to stay for foodies. The rooms themselves were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Rooms were clean, but there was no refrigerator. Had to improvise and put my sandwich in the window sill to keep cool overnight (note: this only worked because of the outside temperature... would not...

Just spent 9 days in Boston as part of a holiday which included trips to New York and on the Queen Mary 2 to return home. We arrived at the hotel and was given a suite which consisted of a kitchenette sitting room and a bedroom with an extra tv so I could watch Base ball from bed the only...

The best thing about the HIE is the location, close to TD Garden, North Station, Faneuil Hall. Rooms are a decent size with a small kitchenette area, breakfast was adequate. Staff were very helpful and offered guidance on local area. I agree with other reviews that the street the hotel is on is not the best street and at $350...

Above all, a convenient location with friendly staff. Close to North Station for the T and rail. Short walk to Government Center, downtown, Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market etc. Some loitering in neighboring street in daytime which feels worse than it is. Good Wi-Fi when I could connect. We were offered a quiet room or a room with a view which is...

Hard to figure out parking. Had to go around the block twice and call 3 times to figure out they had valet and to just find a spot on the street outside. Friendly helpful staff at the desk and at breakfast. Slow, hot elevators. Spendy downtown parking -$43 per night. Average breakfast. Spacious, clean, quiet room but view was of...

Stayed here for 4 days on a visit to Boston to look around and see the autumn colours. I have stayed in Holiday Inn Express hotels before but this one sets new standards! The room was ok if a bit dated but breakfast was something else. Polystyrene plates, paper cups and plastic cutlery. Not much of a food choice either...

We traveled to Boston on a family trip. We choose the HIE due to the competitive rate, free wifi, and free breakfast. We were extremely happy with the service we had at the front desk. Our room was spacious for a city, but there was an odd smell in the hallways (can tell it's an older building). Rooms smelled fine...

The location is adjacent to TD Garden Arena with several local fan bars on the street. The outside is unassuming giving a clue to the interior. The hotel needs a face lift to keep the IHG brand standard. The staff is friendly, marginally helpful, and somewhat efficient. The standard double room for an IHG platinum member included a crooked bathroom...
