We had a fabulous visit at this hotel! Every staff member we came in contact with was friendly and helpful! They thought of every detail and we were well taken care of. Loved it all! Lemon bars in the afternoon, greeted with lobster stuffed animals for the kids, even Boston themed crib sheets!

What a wonderful stay at the Mandarin. My family and I spent a holiday weekend in Boston looking at colleges with my daughter and I already made my choice where to stay when visiting her in Boston. Mandarin Oriental is truly magnificent. Staff is so friendly and polite, yet unobtrusive as they make you feel special with the feeling that you are taken care of. Rooms are well designed, clean, quiet and the espresso maker is a nice touch. Room service is so great and detailed that I felt quilty messing up the room when arriving back at the hotel. Restaurant on site is amazing. Presentation of the food is impeccable, service friendly and humble and most importantly the steak was cooked to perfection. The only thing left is for my daughter to get accepted to BC and we will be set for the next 4 years.

Truly a luxurious escape located in the middle of beautiful Back Bay. Easy access to the mall from within hotel, spa is one of the best in the city, and the on-site restaurant has a fun vibe. I’d highly recommend getting a city view room on a high floor.

This was my first time staying at a Mandarin Oriental hotel. I am floored by the comfort and welcome, the beauty, and the attention to detail by each and every employee I encountered. I needed a beautiful and pampering experience to offset the rigor of a heavily scheduled conference and Mandarin Oriental Boston delivered perfectly. This may have been my first experience at a Mandarin Oriental property but definitely not my last, I may have been ruined from all other hotels! (the bathroom was spectacular!) And Jason, the Hotel Manager, was personable, attentive, extremely friendly and welcoming, I am so grateful for his making my stay all the more pleasant.
