The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.

It was great to stay at Hayatt Boston. Main reason for us to stay in this Hotel is its location and of course Hayatt is a brand to rely on. The best I love while staying at Hayatt is their Concierge service. Their is a suggestion for an improvement regarding accessibility. A

Hyatt is an amazing Hotel. Excellent service, fantastic work-out faciliites, great food but what sets Hyatt apart is it's location. It's supremely located near so many attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The perfect location. I always enjoy visiting Boston, and staying

Great hotel. Pool is not great. Nice that it is salt water but cannot get into or out of pool unless someone helps you (or you are very tall!) Gap between pool ladder step and ground level (about 15-16 inches) is too much of a 'leap' to get out of pool and still maintain any

One of my Christmas presents from my wife was tickets to see "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" at Boston Opera House. We love the Opera House and when we see a show there, we try to stay overnight. Boston is a bit less than two hours from home and it's more fun to book a

How much is the breakfast buffet per person?
It was $32 per person, but we were comped it because of issues with the hotel's service. We did not find it to be good value, and would have been upset had we been paying.

I've never heard of a Quinta bathroom. There is the La Quinta basic hotel chain in the USA, but I don't think they are related. I agree with others who said the configuration of the hotel was odd, but the location was great. I stay at Hyatt Hotels frequently for business, so I have accumulated a lot of Hyatt "points." Used them for my stay which is why I stayed there.

Don’t know. You should call the hotel to see if those items are available.

It was a 5 minute walk (or less) from the hotel to the meeting place at Boston Common for the Freedom Trail tour by "Free Tours By Foot" (which I highly recommend...you reserve ahead and then pay in cash what you think the tour was worth). The tour I did was done in two separate two hour sections. The first had 7 of the 12 points of interest of The Freedom Trail and the second had 5. If you just do one I would recommend the first. The pace was very easy and comfortable and we saw the whole of the Freedom Trail with fantastic extra information from the guide. When the tour was done it was a 15-20 minute walk (at most) back to the hotel on Avenue Lafayette. There is a free shuttle bus plus subway ride to the hotel from the airport (the attendant at the information kiosk will give you all the information you need) and the hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from there. You pay if you take the return trip but it's very inexpensive; we took an Uber for convenience though. Very reasonable cost.
