It's a little strange - as many have mentioned - that the lobby/reception desk is on the 2nd level and not the first, but not a huge hassle, really. Location is FANTASTIC for getting to most everything. Beautiful large double queen room with fridge. Check-in and concierge staff were all friendly and professional. Easy to walk to nearly everything we... More

Very attractive contemporary hotel, conveniently located hotel just a short walk from the harbour, North end/Italian district and Boston Common. There was a mix up when we checked in as the check in clerk came running up to us as we were waiting for the lift to go up to the room allocated to us. He said that he needed... More

We were traveling with an infant and required a fridge for the babies formula and milk. When we got to the room and found that the fridge is not working we called to request assistance. No one came to assist and no follow-up phone call was made to us. This created somewhat of a headache for our entire stay. I... More

We had an excellent stay. We needed a crib and a central location and the hotel staff was wonderful about accommodating us and our requests. Laura at the front desk was very sweet and remembered us when we were checking out. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent location in the city. Able to walk to many places North, South, East and West. Staff was very helpful and had a great view of the city to the North, East and West. Bed was very comfortable in a spacious King room.

Second time staying here...was flattered concierge remembered us and was nice to see same faces a year later. Anthony was so helpful with planning things...Location is within walking distance to everything and if not the train is less than block away! Looking forward to next year!

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
