Excellent customer service at this hotel. The food and beverage is excellent. This hotel has the most knowledgeable concierge service around. This hotel is close to the park and train lines so it's easy to get around the city.

The overall experience was superlative and the staff was extremely attentive. The young man at the front desk even took the time to make dinner reservations for me at the Four Seasons I would highly recommend a stay at this property.

The stafff was great including the maids and room keepers, except for one person at the front desk who thought he was better then us(wrong attitude when asking for help ). Usually when you have a privacy note on your door, especially on a Sunday moring you expect quite outside your doors, not a boss ( I assume) yelling at... More

First time at the hotel, but have stayed in many Hyatt properties. Got off to a very rough start when the hotel did not have my reservation; no one could figure out why this was the case, but after showing my Expedia confirmation to the manager, things were quickly sorted out and we were given an upgraded room (an Executive... I was here in late September for a business meeting. The first thing you notice is how completely friendly the staff are. Willie, the doorman, really made me feel at home right from the moment I got out of the taxi. And everyone else was extremely helpful. The rooms are good-sized, and clean. They have recently renovated, and the bathrooms... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. It was our first visit to Boston. The staff was excellent, Bea at the front desk stands out in particular as extremely helpful and welcoming. All of the doormen we spoke with during our stay were great as well and very helpful with directions which was appreciated... More

Great location, walking distance to the waterfront and easy to access to the running trail along the river. Close to the famous Cheers Bar from the sitcom and across the river to MIT. Take a sunset cruise in the bay overlooking the city. The rooms are spacious but the bathroom ceiling needs some attention.

The location is very convenient. A lot of shoppings and restaurants around and nearby. Close to harbour, ocean views, subway, historical buidings. Nice swimming pool and Gym to use. Secured place, with friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Overall, it is very convenient and pleasant experience in Hyatt

If you've stayed at other Hyatt Regency's before, you'll feel right at home. Modern décor/colors, clean rooms, up to Hyatt standards as far as look & feel go. The location couldn't be better - a block or two from the Common & start of the Freedom Trail, walking distance to all the major sites (we even walked the mile to... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
