Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice.
Overall the stay was as expected. The Hyatt Regency is at a great location for exploring the area - and super convenient if you are there for the theatre. I was not hungry enough for the buffet, so I ordered from the menu. However, my omelet barely had any cheese (whereas my husband's omelet from the buffet cook had lots of cheese) and my potatoes tasted like they had been pre-cooked quite a while before I got them (and they were not the same potatoes as the buffet had, so they were not part of some large batch for that). Overall, the room was a decent normal Hyatt room. However, we are past all of the Covid-19 protocols yet the water and coffee cups in the room were still paper ones. Given that the Hyatt Regency is a 4-star hotel, I expected real coffee cups and glass water cups ---- especially when I did get such from the Hyatt Place that we stayed at during the same vacation (and the Hyatt Place is only a 3-star hotel). …
We had a large group and utilized the conference rooms. The catering food was very good and the staff was excellent. Central to everything, great staff, great service. Would definitely stay here again when in Boston.
Enjoyed our 5 night stay. The Common and other sights only a short walk away. Food at the Avenue One in the hotel was so good we ate all our dinners there ( chowder, pizza, burger, fish). Thank you to Nataryan, Abdular, & Erlad for great service. William at breakfast was especially welcoming and hope you enjoy your cap. Abdel in service was very helpful. If all Hyatts have this quality of staffing we will seek to stay at Hyatts in the future!
Very nice hotel, located in a great area near the harbor, shopping and entertainment/restaurants. Hotel clean, food good and staff very supportive. Would definitely consider staying at this establishment in the future.
Very convenient location to many places to see. Room is spacious, bed is comfortable, could be cleaner. Carpets stained and tub old or dirty with gray streaks. We had food from hotel for the business meeting I was attending and it was good, better than expected.
Hotel is conveniently located in the theater district. We walked throughout the streets and felt safe. The hotel room was a disappointment, no dresser drawers to store clothing. The pool was closed. No room service.
From the pictures and from the reviews and price I was expecting a more charming and confortable room and bathroom. The service at the restaurant was ok. When checking out there was an extra fee for the location of the hotel not included in the price for the night. And also they mention I have to communicate with trip advisor because they notice a balance and I had the receipt of the payment so it did not make sense but they couldn’t explain.
The pool at this hotel appears to be PERMANENTLY CLOSED. The pool is empty and there is no sign of any work being completed on it. There's a decent gym and that is all. Thanks for reading my review and I hope you found it helpful.
Very happy with my one night stay. Restaurant / bar was well done, food was good and very reasonably priced. Room was well appointed and clean. Service was very good. Would recommend to anyone thinking about staying there and I will stay there again.
