Neighborhood
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.

Hotel's Favorite
My wife and I enjoyed a one night stay before returning to the U.K. From the moment we pulled up at the hotel entrance the service was impeccable, it was very English in its execution - quiet, understated, elegant, yet friendly and personal. We were given a free upgrade to a suite and our bags were swiftly taken up to the room. Whilst checking in the receptionist advised of local attractions and things to do that afternoon. After a quick drink in the very cool bar we left for an evening dinner date, a few hours later we were remembered by the door staff and welcomed home like regular customers. A very nice and thoughtful touch. The following morning whilst talking outside the hotel I mentioned to the door staff that the Harvard club next door looked rather swish. He immediately walked over to their doorman and arranged a brief look around the ballroom for us - another great example of going the extra mile. This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in worldwide, it is on a par with Claridges in London. The decor is sublime, the staff friendly, the service exquisite and discrete and the bar cool and trendy. It is a credit to the owners, management and hotel staff - well done, we hope to be back sooner rather than later.

Staff are the friendliest, most helpful I’ve come across-every single person. We pulled up outside in a taxi and before we’d paid the driver our bags were being transported into the hotel for us. Their attention to the small details to make our stay outstanding are too numerous to mention. The decor in the hotel is beautiful and stylish, quality and individual-such a change from many of the bland, soulless, corporate hotels. They anticipated our needs-eg providing ice for beverages before we got back on the second evening, as we’d requested some on the first. And a special mention for the bar man, he was so helpful with his advice and treated us like royalty -thank you for making my first beer in the USA so memorable. Location is great, only a few minutes walk from the bus/metro and numerous restaurants and shops.

I wish to thank this guest for taking the time to review his stay and for the stellar rating! It really is a combination of our spacious and comfortable designer suites; a genuinely caring staff dedicated to ensuring our guests are well cared for; and a super-convenient location in Boston's elegant and fashionable Back Bay neighborhood, that together, help us create such memorable guest experiences. And, of course, having the city's top rated restaurant and designer cocktail bar on premises doesn't hurt in this respect either! I'm delighted the Eliot was the representative of hospitality for this guest during his first time in Boston and the USA.

My wife and I visited Boston in February. The hotel is well located, very refined in atmosphere and comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights. The hotel's staff is very friendly: the doormen, the front desk staff, and the floor staff. The front desk helped us rent a car at nearby Prudential Center. We reserved a junior suite, but upon our arrival the room had a thermostat malfunction; we were promptly given another suite. The concierge reached out to me by email prior to my arrival (very nice touch) and I was able to request newspaper delivery for the room every day; the service was on-time every morning. Overall, a wonderful hotel.

As a hotel that is dedicated to providing personalized service, it is gratifying to know that staying here, "felt like home." The relatively small size of our boutique hotel gives us the opportunity to really know our guests and to attend to their needs proactively. Chose the Eliot for its close proximity to Berklee School of Music. It not only was convenient but nice as well. The suite was roomy enough for 3 people. The service was incredibly nice, helpful and quick to respond to any need. The room temperature was great....cool! I would certainly stay here again.
