We really enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel in a perfect location! The staff all aim to please and were very responsive to requests. The hotel is older but well maintained, and access for walking the city or public transportation is excellent. You will not be disappointed!
This hotel was great. As soon as you walk up we were greeted by the doormen opening the doors to a gorgeous entryway with a beautiful chandelier above. The front desk helped store our luggage and helped us with directions. While we were away they put our luggage into our adjoined rooms. They were very attentive. The rooms were very nicely sized. One with a king bed and a living room area with tv, couch, and chairs. The other room had two queen beds. All the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were very nice both had marble walk in showers. Plush towels and nice toiletries. All around a great stay!
Have stayed in various hotels around Boston and this was a nice surprise. Great location at Comm. and Mass. Avenues and nearly everywhere we went was within walking distance. (If you do need to travel further, the Convention Center stop on the Green Line is only a block away and the Mass Pike is literally around the corner.) The hotel has an excellent breakfast, the entire staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful, and the room itself had lots of space and felt more like an apartment than a hotel room.
Delightful, beautifully decorated and staff is top notch. First time guest, will definitely be back. They have hospitality down. Professional, kind, and expeditious. We were upgraded to a suite and the extra space was so welcomed. Very comfortable bed and linens. Surpassed expectations!
Perfect location. Friendly, helpful staff. Great room-very quiet and comfortable. We love to walk and eat/drink our way through Boston. Walked around the River, out to Timeout market, over to Pier 6 in Charlestown, out to Brookline and down to the seaport:-) Could head out in any direction.
What an AMAZING hotel! Great boutique, old school feel and very clean. A fabulous location and every single staff member was friendly, helpful and made our stay incredibly enjoyable. I would stay here again and again and would recommend to anyone.
We had an amazing stay while visiting the Back Bay in Boston. The staff were very warm and personable. From the front door to the maid we met in the hall. Every detail about or stay was perfect! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Boston.
Best location in Boston.. either right next to or minutes away (walking) from: Comm Ave; Newbury Street; Back Bay; Copley Square; Esplanade; Fenway; Public Garden. Beautiful room w/ comfortable bed/sheets and awesome bathroom/shower. The friendliest concierge/manager(s). Wouldn't stay anywhere else..
Lovely hotel! Our suite was a very comfortable room; the location was great, very walkable to back bay restaurants and the MFA; the staff were very attentive and welcoming; the continental breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety and gorgeous cut fruit.
Location is very central, even more so than Copley Sq. At the Elliot you are near Back Bay, Kenmore, Fenway, Symphony and Cambridge MIT. From this ideal location you are at the top of Newbury St. for shopping, dinning and people watching. The corner suit rooms are a nice size and layout. From these room you can enjoy the views of the Boston skyline, treelined Commonwealth mall and a glimpse of the Charles River. Sandeep and the staff team were responsive and accommodating at all times. The drawback of our stay was the limited breakfast options. Unfortunately, we didn't particularly enjoy the in room items that were available (skip the oatmeal and DIY parfait). Head out for breakfast to Cafe Savage or other nearby options.
