We stayed in one of the Suites, stylish and spacious. The bar was great for a beer before heading out for the evening. The hotel is close to Newbury Street with a great selection of restaurants and shops, all very pretty with the gardens in front of the businesses. Breakfast was good, all the staff were very attentive. The 4th... More

We recently spent 4 nights at the Eliot with our 2 teenagers. The one bedroom suite was lovely and had ample room for the 4 of us. The location can't be beat. We were able to walk to all the restaurants and shopping in the Back Bay as well as a Red Sox game at Fenway. All the staff were... More

The staff would do that extra service for you. Asked for a certain tea, which they did not have but the room service man said he got tea from his own private tea and gave it to us. At arrival nice fresh cookies, friendly staff, nice suites

The Eliot has it all. The location can't be beat whether you are in Boston for the museums, Fenway, sightseeing, or shopping. Central to all the action. The staff is professional and friendly - may I help you? The decor is soothing and what I would call transitional - not modern, not traditional - a nice vibe. Highly recommend.

We stayed at The Eliot on a family vacation with three children (13,10, 7). The hotel was so attentive to every need, and the location was perfect for us. The T station was one block away, and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Everyone we encountered on their staff was friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend the... We were four days at the Eliot. The hotel has an excellent location in Back Bay. We walked two blocks to the Charles and enjoyed a vigorous 4 mile walk uninterrupted by traffic. Saw the fireworks on the 4th which were amazing and didn't need to fight the crowds. Many restaurants and shops all over Back Bay and Fenway. The... More

My girlfriend and I were in Boston for a concert at Fenway and wanted to stay at a hotel within walking distance. The Eliot Hotel was not only convenient, but a very cool place to stay. From the moment we pulled up to the curb, the service was impeccable. The valet, front desk staff and bell man couldn't have been... More

Unfortunately,we only stayed 1 night.....but I've never felt so "pampered" anywhere else we have stayed!......from the friendly doormen who took all our luggage from the cab....(& gave us directions & recommendations when we left for the night)....to the sweet girl at the desk...delivering our luggage to the room.....the fresh strawberries & cookies in the room....& the plush suite we enjoyed... My wife and I stayed at the hotel for a total of almost 10 days with a break in between. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite on our check in and again after we re-checked in, after an interstate visit. The rooms and bathroom was clean and the beds soft but very comfortable. We found the service at... More

We are certainly lucky to have such wonderful staff like Ugrass, who is grateful for the commendation! As a... More

Good location and very friendly and professional staff. The room we were in (609) was spacious but could use an update. View was non-existing. Breakfast was nice, correct ratio price quality. Overall good, but overpriced. To my opinion more a business hotel than leisure.

I wish to thank this guest for taking the time to write a review and for his kind comments about the hotel's good location and professional and friendly staff. Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighborhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
