I stayed here for 4 nights and didn't want to leave! Can I live here permanently? Ha! The staff was always pleasant but not too intruding. They were there to help if you needed them, within minutes! The location is perfect for walking, trains, shopping and dining. The vintage charm of this old hotel takes you back in time. It's...

Everyone is so helpful - especially Kevin - thank you for a lovely stay. The location is great as it's close to all the shops and T station. Everything is in easy walking distance. Would definitely chose to stay here again when I come back to Boston.

I've been making the rounds of the older Boston hotels lately and have stumbled on a hidden treasure. Conveniently located at Comm Ave and Mass Ave, its close to dining and shopping on Newbury street, close to BU, MIT, Harvard and the tech companies in Cambridge. The suite layout makes the rooms feel much larger and makes it feel more...

Stayed for three nights in Jan 17. I was already impressed with the service before we even arrived, having emailed them to ask if I could get some items delivered which was no problem. Check in was easy and service was great from everyone at check in to doorman. Cab from the airport was just over $30. Location is away...

Boston must be proud of the Eliot. From the doormen to the General Manager (who I had the pleasure of meeting), everyone at the Eliot treated us with the utmost respect. I imagine this is what a visiting dignitary might experience. I loved the room and the view. Decor is more like a high-end bed and breakfast than a hotel,...

Ticks all the boxes and so much more. Definite stay here again. Boston a very lovely calm and inviting city. The Eliot Well located and easy access, picturesque walk to the Commons or taxi to town. Architecturally in keeping with Boston with a classically, warm and inviting reception. Staff friendly courteous and very helpful. Our room/ suite was perfect, clean...

The building is older, but both the location and the quality of the staff make up for that. Uni (the restaurant) is one of the best sushi on the East coast for those of us missing LA level foods. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean -- just suffers from being small and older. Definitely a great value for Boston stays.

I discovered this gem and was blown away. While the location is ideal, being close to Boston's main attractions, it was the staff, common areas and room that set this hotel apart. The staff is professional, courteous and warm. The lobby is elegant and balances comfort and sophistication perfectly. The rooms are spacious contrary to my experience with hotels in...

This is where I stay in Boston. Excellent staff, great location and lots of charm. I had an early check in and one of my two rooms was ready. Early check in puts pressure on housekeeping but finding a used soap in the bath and a woman's garment on the floor was disappointing. I will return but this stay was...

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighborhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
