My stay was excellent! The room was very nice, service from all staff was top notch, including the restaurant, and for a light sleeper like myself I was impressed how quiet the rooms were. I would not hesitate to stay at the Eliot again if I’m back in Boston.

I recently stayed at the Eliot hotel on a business trip. It is a quaint, boutique hotel that offers excellent customer service. The rooms are nice and all of their staff are helpful. I enjoyed my stay here and will be using them in the future.

We were delighted to be upgraded to a suite. Bathroom was excellent with modern walk in shower. Good facilities including tea as well as coffee in the room. Very helpful staff, great location and more importantly comfortable beds for a great nights sleep.

Great location outside Hynes T stop and a good base for sightseeing round Boston. Room was really clean, good size and a really comfortable bed, with a cool boutique feel to it, and all the furniture and the make up of the hotel. Useful to have the complimentary passes to the gym round the corner too. Perfect for a few... More

We love Boston. Went to see our niece who stars in musical there. Had a great time with friends and family. The hotel Elliot was very accommodating. The staff was strictly friendly and work with us to hold our car and make her stay pleasant. We ate in their dining room twice and the staff was particularly attentive.

The fact that I never heard of this hotel and someone else made my reservation, I was absolutely delighted to have been introduced to this hotel. The desk staff was friendly and the property was beautiful. The rooms were lovely and the hotel is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants and next door to the original Harvard Club. It is... More

I wish to thank this guest for taking the time to review his stay, and couldn't be more thrilled that he discovered the Eliot! It is quite common that when guests "discover" our hotel, they adopt us as their home in Boston; precisely for the reasons he so succinctly enumerated: our beautiful accommodations, convenient location, and above all, our friendly... The staff were helpful and the suite upgrade was great - suite absolutely beautiful even though it looked onto the back of buildings - it was quiet! We were unable to purchase tickets for tours from the hotel and the only restaurant appeared to be sushi (not good for hubby who is allergic to seafood)!

I wish to thank this guest for taking the time to review her stay, and am delighted that she found such favor with our "helpful" staff and "beautiful" suites. The hotel's restaurant, Uni, is currently Boston's most acclaimed Asian restaurant. In addition to offering both a sushi bar and a chef's special sashimi bar, the main restaurant offers a menu... Having stayed at many of the best hotels in Boston I can honestly say that the Eliot IS the best of them all. From the moment we were greeted at the door by the doormen then the reception staff and all the others including housekeeping etc we felt so genuinely wecolmed. In my opinion the Eliot was either very lucky... More

It is true that the combination of "beautiful" accommodations, a super convenient location, and above all, our welcoming staff, combine to help create great guest experiences. This hotel is special. In a historic building they managed to conserve the the historical impression also in their rooms without any kitsch and with all modern things you need. Rooms are pretty big. Coffee machine, mini bar, water, WiFi (could be better) all there. Beds are good, AC works silently. From here it is easy to walk ro Cambridge,... More

I thank this guest for taking the time to review his stay and so very much appreciate his acknowledgement of the Eliot Hotel's distinctiveness. The Eliot is certainly not a "cookie-cutter" hotel. Independently owned by the same family since the 1930's, the Eliot truly blends its historic architecture with a contemporary interior design that in many ways exemplifies what makes... More

Had a wonderful 2 nights in this hotel in Aug 16. The room was huge and very comfortable. The bed was amazing and the best I have ever had in any hotel, even better than my own at home. The staff were very pleasant and polite. My only criticism would be the size of the en suite, bit too small!!!

I wish to thank this guest for taking the time to review her stay and am absolutely thrilled that her 2 nights at the Eliot were "wonderful." The Eliot is primarily an all suite hotel, so our spacious suites certainly contribute to our guest's comfort. This, of course, includes what is most important for a good night's sleep, the comfort... More

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighborhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
