My mother and I stayed at the Copley Square Hotel for five nights while on vacation in Boston. We originally were in a very small room with only a queen bed and decided to upgrade to a larger room with a king since we were staying so long. Overall, this is a great little hotel in a prime location. The...

Was our first trip to Boston and picked this hotel because of its location and good prior reviews. We were not disappointed. Hotel is conveniently located to many sites and we were able to walk to many. The neighborhood is lovely with good restaurants and shopping. The hotel was a great home base with an incredible staff, friendly and welcoming...

We stayed at this hotel for one night. The location of the hotel is spectacular. Right in the midst of the Copley Square area, short walk to Fenway in one direction and the Boston Common in the other direction. The room was very clean. The only drawback was the size. The room was very small and the bathroom was even...

I've been here twice now on business, and love it! The beds are super comfortable, the rooms are clean and I love the bathroom products. The staff is friendly and it’s always very quick to check in. I also love their 'wine-o'clock hour' (though I've never actually been because I'm still working.. but the fact that they have it is...

First time in Boston and chose the Copley Square for convenience in the first instance. However the hotel and staff were great. I can't complain about any aspects of our stay. Room was clean, bed comfortable and good air con. Breakfast was fine, nice hot oatmeal with berries. Convenient to the T, Old Trolley Tours and the "Ducks" , but...

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was a bit tired, it is supposed to be a boutique hotel, there was nothing special about it. We paid for larger room, so it was spacious and the décor was nice. However, there was a stale smell in the room which put me off. I must admit the bed...

First time we've stayed in Boston. Picked this hotel partly because of the glowing Tripadvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. Hotel staff, from the front desk to the doormen were very helpful and friendly. Gave us ideas for places to go, places to eat, and how to get there. Always ready with a smile and a hello. Very nice...

This is the second oldest hotel in Boston. So it has that feel, but decorated so well. Bottles of water provided in the room and wine is offered every evening. The staff is very customer friendly and the location just couldn't be better. Jude at the front desk gave us great directions on the use of the 'T'. We were...

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel and there were some good points and some issues. First, we arrived early so they checked our bags and called us about 1pm to tell us our room was ready. I think each room might be configured slightly different in this boutique hotel but I could be wrong. We were on the 5th floor...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
