Marriott Long Wharf is a very clean, comfortable hotel with outstanding service. It is conveniently located to major attractions in Boston such as Faneuil Hall marketplace, the North End and the waterfront. An easy walk to most of these things. The room service was some of the best we have had at any hotel in the country- good food and... More

I usually stay at the Boston Harbor Hotel ( see my review "None Better") for the annual trade conference I normally attend each January. Because I wasn't sure whether I would be attending this year or not, I had to book late and ended up at the Long Wharf Marriott. The front desk service was pleasant and helpful. My room... More

We had 7 rooms for my staff visiting for a conference. All were scheduled and waiting for us on our arrival. Valet parking is available and the vehicles are parked on site. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean, facilities in the room included a small refrigerator. Bathrooms were nice. Only downside, as with all major hotels, is... More

Dear DWS177 - I do appreciate your feedback. Not having complimentary Wi-Fi has been a concern not only for Marriott Long Wharf but for all full service Marriott properties. In January of last year, Marriott Corporation has changed their policy regarding properties charging for Wi-Fi. I am happy to announce that in January of 2015, all Marriott Rewards members who... I had a proposal arranged at the Marriott Long Wharf hotel and the team offered me outstanding service. Brian Munck, Kendra Gore and Thery Narcisse helped me make a one of a kind unique plan as if I was their lifetime friend. Everything went great and I really congratulate the hotel for the excellent team they have !

The hotel was nice, however while watching the game in the lobby my fiance dosed off for 3 minutes to wake up to hotel security asking for ID and being very aggressive.I'm a professional and would never intentionally cause a problem. However I later learned that the restaurant manager "Terry" insisted that security ask me for ID as if I... More

Dear Tear W - Thank you for your review. My apologies for the appearance of any impropriety. Because of our very central location we have many transient guests and our hotel residents mixing in our public space. As a result we regularly request a certain level of decorum for those enjoying our lobby, sleeping unfortunately is something that is not... More

I used Marriott Rewards Points, it is great option, in a convenient place. Different restaurants in less than 2 blocks. Transportation is not a big issue in Boston, because all works very well: sub, bus, bicycle, etc.

On a last second try we were able to book a room in Boston so my son could fly out to Orlando the next day.... More

Another great stay at Marriott Long Wharf. Great location. Great service. Great people. We always feel like we're at our home away from home when we arrive. Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
