Great location, very convenient to the heart of the city. I have been coming here for a couple annual conventions for the last 20 years. It has been very well maintained and updated on a regular basis. They recently updated the elevators and are much faster with less waiting time then the former ones. Rooms are always very clean and...

My husband and I stayed here on one of his business trips during Juno, the blizzard of 2015. The location is convenient for shopping and restaurants which are all connected so you don't need to go outside for access. It is also walking distance to many beautiful churches, the oldest public library in the U.S., Boston Commons and the State...

Really liked the hotel. Found the location good, near the subways, shopping centers very closed, couldnt fault the hotel. Really enjoyed by stay in Boston, especially the visit to the cheese-cake factory which is like, 10min walk from this hotel

We had a function here and decided to stay the night. Our room was very nice, comfortable bed, great view of the city and clean. It was freezing the night we stayed and it was so nice that we could explore a little before our event without going outside. The hotel is attached to 2 malls and probably more if...

They were ready for emergency procedures. Backup generators were checked and staff members stayed in empty rooms so they could work when the rest of the city was closed. Starbucks was not ready (ran out of many items). Indoor access to the mall and a great exercise facility in the hotel were excellent things to have during the heavy snow...

Walk to everything. Staff was awesome, super professional, courteous. loved the 2 malls connected. be careful in the area though, especially outside the back of the prudential center area, we got followed on a saturday night back across the sky bridge, very scary. but felt safe in that hotel. good crowd there, people were wonderful. nice starbucks inside

For visitors to Boston (particularly in the winter) the location is great. Skywalks connect the hotel to two malls and several other hotels. Rooms are nicely re-done, but a little on the small side, as to be expected when staying in a city. Bathrooms are nice, but the lack of an exhaust fan is quite annoying. Lot of guest rooms,...

I stayed here for a conference, there seemed to be at least two others at the same hotel. This meant large crowds for everything. The worst part were the smart elevators. You click you floor number and are directed to the elevator to enter. There no no buttons inside. At one point I waited 20 minutes before the elevator I...

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
