This hotel is conference central with the rudest most unhelpful reception staff I have ever encountered. I was querying my bill & he literally walked away from me, appalling. He didn’t want to know. I was then told by the head receptionist that it was 3.00pm & mid shift as if to justify what he had done. Luggage staff were very helpful. Rooms have been recently decorated & the view is lovely. Beds are comfortable, small bathroom but functional. The hotel is very busy & they close the bar/restaurant for private functions so lucky it’s in a central location. They still make you pay $25 resort fee per day even though the bar was closed when we wanted to use it so couldn’t spend the resort fee. Buffet breakfast was average. It’s just too busy all of the time so I wouldn’t stay again.

In terms of location, this is a really solid choice in the Back Bay. Being so close to great shopping and restaurants as well as an easy walk to a lot of attractions and a T station makes this a no brainer for business as well as leisure travelers. My room was spotlessly clean and quiet, even though I was quite close to the elevators I was never bothered by noise from them or waiting guests. The hotel was incredibly busy as I was in town during Boston's insane graduation season and it held its capacity well. I will say, the Yardbird restaurant on the second floor was NOT great (I'm not sure how closely affiliated it is with the property, but you can charge things directly to your room so there has to be some kind of partnership there), featuring some of the worst service I've had in a long time for both breakfast and lunch, so that was the one major fly in the ointment of my visit. If you stay here, there are tons of other options in terms of food, so skip Yardbird and you'll be in great shape for a successful stay.

This is a nicely situated conference hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and newly renovated, half carpet and half wooden-style floor, which I really enjoyed. The shower had two different heads, with wall-mounted toiletries. It's super easy to get an Uber from here, and it seems to be attached to a mall, although we never wandered past the in-hotel restaurant.

We stayed here because of its proximity to Boston University, as we were attending graduation. At +$550 per night we expected a very different ambience. The common spaces and the room are completely lacking in charm; they scream “chain”. Dark laminate floors, noisy neighbors in the next room. One plus is nice towels and a roomy shower, but no tub. In addition to the high room price, the parking is 69.00 overnight, there is a charge for Wi-Fi, and there is a mandatory purchase of a $25 “destination” card, which forces you to dine in the abysmal Yard House facility. We decided to try it for breakfast but did not want the buffet. An order of toast a la cart was one slice of brea, etc., etc. I could go on, but just don’t do it. This was not up to par with the included breakfast one would expect at a chain restaurant anywhere on I 95 south of DC. We left exhausted.

Absolutely amazing stay from start to finish. Joey checked us in so knowledgeable and was telling us about his home. He had cool pins on his suit and he told us it’s for his service in hotels in worked in, we got a gorgeous room on the 32nd floor 3223 overlooking the city and could see Charles river, the room was so clean massive tv and shower which was so clean and great power, everything we needed, we went to the pool and gym which again was very clean loads of towels. The pool was smaller than I thought but it did the job, we ate in courtyard twice for lunch which was no issue, but breaky was very slow they asked our details as Q was 15 mins we waited yet loads was let in ahead of us when I asked he said we got a text which we didn’t as they never asked my number and it’s international, service wasn’t great the male waiter took half an order brought down our tea 15/20 mins before food so it was cold, notting was explained and we had to go looking for him twice but food was lovely, check out was just as easy as check in Mohammed and his managed crystal was so helpful there was an issue with the booking company I booked with our prices was different an error on the booking.com website and they fixed it no problem it was so discreetly fixed and explained, I would go back here in a heart beat the location Is so central and next door is a shopping center, Tip: get your name on the waiting list in the courtyard. I was in town for one of several convention hosted at the hotel at the end of April. It was super easy to get there by train. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. I was especially grateful to the staff for keeping the guests safe as there were protesters outside constantly trying to get in and disrupt one of the conventions. The pool and gym area were clean and pleasant. My room was clean and comfortable. Plus with the downtown location I was with in walking distance or a short ride to most places in Boston.

Stayed for a conference. Hotel's HOSPITALITY staff was superb. The Hotel's SECURITY did a great job of insulating the conference from external disruption or interference. Highly recommended, and the next time we need to stay overnight in Boston, the Copley will be our FIRST CHOICE.

We stayed at the Marriott during a controversial conference. The service was excellent, the staff was at attention, security was on top of every thing. While there were protesters out front, the attendees we extremely polite, reserved, and May I say, well dressed. Excellent work, Marriott. Thank you for your hard work. We had the best time!

Staff was amazing helpful, and the room was so spacious. I spent most of the week in the chair quietly, happily knitting. However there was so much to do without even needing to leave. One of the best places I’ve ever been!!
