Stayed three nights, perfect location. Staff extremely helpful and assisted with tickets to baseball at Fenway Park, which I would highly recommend. Couldn't fault room, comfy bed, nice view, very spacious and bathroom well equipped. Could walk just about everywhere from baseball to downtown, parks, supermarket across road for supplies.....initially walked from train station to hotel. Would definitely return.

I apologize for not getting to this review sooner. I visited Boston from Chicago the weekend of August 12-14th with my family for a bachelor party. I had booked a group of 5 rooms. Upon Arrival after an early morning flight, Yarolsav at the front desk was able to check us in and get us all of our rooms on... More

Nice hotel. A bit confusing to check in. People were cutting in front of people and no one was directing anyone. Slow service to check in. Concierge were absolutely fantastic. Room was nice. Big TV. Lobby bar was nice and fun but costly. But it is Boston.

This was a good choice for our family of five. The location was ideal for Back Bay, the MBA, shopping in copley place and the prudential centre and lots of restaurants nearby. The pool was great for the kids and much appreciated. The staff were mostly very friendly. The only downside was the size of room which was smaller than... More

Enjoyed the views from a king corner room on the 37th floor. Concierge lounge is wonderful but wish it was open on weekends. Hotel is centrally located within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and Fenway park. Lots of shopping and restaurant access without having to go outside. Large grocery store across the street. Never heard any noise from hallway or... More

I stayed here in late July/early August for 5 nights. The hotel is very big and its easy to get lost. It is a typical Marriott, nice beds, clean rooms and relatively modern, The location is great if you are there for a conference/work it allows you to run out and do shopping during breaks or just go for a... This hotel has a great location close to shopping and some wonderful restaurants. The staff is very helpful. Not only did we get early check-in but we got upgraded to a hospitality suite. Great view of the Charles river. This hotel is quickly becoming our favorite in Boston.

This hotel was very nice and the room was spectacular. I had a room with a King bed and it was very comfortable. My only dislikes was the wifi was not free unless you either paid or became a member of their rewards club.

This hotel is very well located to go anywhere in Boston. The hotel is well appointed and maintained. The staff met all of my needs. The conference facilities and food were excellent. There were 200 of us and they provided lunch and breakfast each day. It's located close to the Copley MBTA stop, route 90 and Logan airport.

This is a standard Marriott -- nice, but no frills. The best part is the location - walking distance to the Museum of Fine Arts, the Freedom Trail sights, the Commons, the harbor, and just about anything else you would want to see. It's also in a great shopping district, with plenty of quick restaurants and even a grocery shop... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
