We spent 4 nights - Thursday through Monday at the hotel. First off we normally stay at Hilton brand hotels (We are Diamond with Hilton) We received a great rate so stayed here instead. Check in was very fast, staff very nice. Room was very nice size, but the bathroom was on the smaller than other hotels we normally use.... More

Great location for the price. Clean and spacious. Easy in and out with valet parking. Staff is exceptional. Starbucks on second floor is having renovations at the moment. Grocery store with dunkin donuts across the street. Starbucks one block away on boyleston.

We stayed at this hotel on a recent trip to Boston. The staff was great, the location was clean, and close to a great deal of shopping, it was just a nice hotel. The shopping was everything from high end to mid level, there were historic sites and monuments. We enjoyed the place.

We booked this stay on Marriott points for a concert at Fenway Park. The most frustrating thing was finding the entrance using Google Maps! When we finally got that figured out, our fine experience began. We valet parked the car and he was very friendly greeting us. There was quite a line to check in both at the usual desk... More

They were very accommodating at this hotel. It's clean and everyone there was extremely helpful. From valet to helping get our luggage to our room and offering any helpful tips while staying in Boston. Everyone was very eager to help. Loved the sky bridge into the mall right from the hotel. Made for easily and comfortably walking around the city... More

This hotel is very old and a bit tired. The rooms were clean, but the tub had hairs in it. I know this is an old hotel, but it is in desperate need of some upgrades. The wifi was spotty. The beds were very comfortable and felt clean. The location is hard to beat, right around the corner from Copley... More

My family spent 2 comfortable nights at this hotel during a recent short trip to Boston. We had a very nice, spacious corner room on the 21st floor with 2 double beds & ample space for the free rollaway cot for our 3rd kid. The indoor swimming pool/whirlpool on the 5th floor served us well after a long day of... More

Located close to anything you wish to do in Boston. Very nice downtown hotel. Within walking distance of the metro in Back Bay. Our room was large with a wonderful view of the city. The beds are comfortable. My only complaint would be that I requested extra towels because there were four women and we had to ask every day... More

We were a group of 6 women on a girls weekend. Every employee we interacted with, was friendly, and helpful, and went above and beyond our expectations. We had two adjoining rooms, that were super comfortable, clean, with a nice view of Boston. Across from Copley Plaza, with high end shops, and many restaurants in the area. Convenient to Fenway,... Spent 4 nights here with family. We are glad we settled on this hotel after a lot of search. Check-in and check-out was quick and efficient even despite a long line. We were on the 28th floor (concierge lounge is in the 28th floor). The elevators were very efficient and easy to use. Our room had a bay view. The... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
