I am attending a conference and the hotel is right opposite the Conference's venue: location is also great to explore the whole of Boston even on foot. This is where the good points end. The hotel is extremely expensive for the service it offers: Internet connection is to be paid extra, even tea/coffee you prepare in the room has to...

The Boston Marriott Copley Place is a high end hotel in the back bay. It is at the Copley Place Shopping Mall which has high end shopping. It's also convenient to the convention center. In addition to Champions restaurant/sports bar, there is a Legal Sea Foods nearby in the mail.

Nice location, nice staff ( Especially Arin). decent room and the food in the lounge was great. Burgers were really good and the drink pours were very good. Only issue was our room next to the elevator that was noisy all night. Other than that really good hotel

Easy ride by taxi or uber from the airport. Then many restaurants and things to do within walking distance. Good view of the harbor from my room. Very nice stay. Will plan to stay again and I recommend.

Was here for a conference during the week. Hotel staff was excellent and attentive. The rooms themselves are a bit dates but the location and view make up for it. If possible try to get the corner king rooms above the 29th floor, views are spectacular. The lounge has a nice view (28th floor) but they ran out of hot...

Bookef a room through a convention booking site, listed as a 2 double bedded room. Upon check in, I received a king bed room. When checking with the reception desk, I was told that booking did not guarantee the room type... Not sure how, since this usually occurs with "standard" rooms (could be one or two beds) but this has...

The staff was excellent as was the location. One of the best fitness centers I've seen in a hotel. The location was convenient to restaurants, shopping and the convention center. Elevators were faster than many properties. Room was average.

I hadn't stayed at the Copley Marriott in quite a long time because I'd tired of the numbing sameness of Marriott hotels, especially convention hotels like this one. Like other travelers, I decided to take advantage of the SPG/Marriott elite status arrangement. This hotel was the most convenient for a symposium I was attending so I gave it a try....

You want to see Boston. You want a central location. You want to walk around. Boston is a very walkable city and the Back Bay has lots of history- the Public Library, Trinity Church, the Old South Church. Where do you stay? The Marriott is walking distance to many sites, it's a great location. It's connected to upscale shopping malls...

Beautiful view from the 31st floor. Wasn't so beautiful when we had to evacuate for a fire alarm. Overall I would recommend this hotel...convenient to everything and if the weather is bad you can shop and eat forever without going outside. Rooms were clean and service was wonderful.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
