Excellent stay, loves the lobby, check in was easy and free bike rentals! The gym was also very nice and the location was perfect. Would definitely stay there again. Also customer service was absolutely wonderful!
Nice good hotel, with two free bikes, bathrooms are at the corridor and shared but they are nice and clean. Also it is nice that the hote offers you bike. Keep in mind that in total there are only two bikes. So be the first one!
This hotel is in a great location. The decor is hip and modern. We stayed in the separate "Revolution Lofts" building across the street which felt nice and private. Very close to a create breakfast restaurant (Friendly Toast) and cafe (Flour). We enjoyed our stay!
My son left personal items in room, but they disappeared. House keepers didn’t know any thing. It’s low value hotel, you pay too much for a tiny room without a private bath. The only value of hotel is location.
We are SO glad that we didn’t let the shared bathrooms deter us. This place was so unique and fun. The shared bathrooms were cleaned so often that we never felt we were using a used facility. The cleaning staff did a fantastic job. Should note that the showers and toilets are each behind a locked door so you have your privacy when you do use the bathroom. The location was great for us. We walked a ton and used the Blue Bikes located right around the corner. The taco place is SO GOOD! Staff was super helpful and responsive. Beds were very comfy. The ONLY slight complaint we had was that bc of the AC the room felt kind of damp and the sheets were not soft but that Had no impact on the quality of our stay. We would definitely stay again.
Exactly what we needed. My partner and I are both college students who wanted to take a weekend trip to Boston to visit a friend and visit the city. The hotel is only a short walk away from the back bay station, and there were multiple restaurants right near by. The cost was affordable but the room was nice and felt safe, and didn't feel cheap at all. The room was exactly like the pictures. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms were always clean.
The staff was very helpful and friendly at both check-in and check-out; the lobby was lovely and contained and excellent coffee shop; and my room (in the auxiliary loft building) was comfortable, bright, and very spacious for a city center location. The neighborhood was very picturesque and walkable and full of great cafes and restaurants.
When I first came I was afraid about the noise in the hotel as well as the distance between the hotel and my exam location and the transportation between it, but I realised after the first night this all was wrong and the situation was very good and convenient as well as the transportation. It was really a good experience especially that the first time to go to Boston and the revolution hotel. The only drawback of the stay was that there was no breakfast offered as well as a coffee machine or even a kettle to drink coffee or tea in the room but other than that everything was excellent, good luck
i stayed there with my boyfriend for a short trip visiting boston. The check in was smooth. The room was not very big but very nice. Clean and nice view. there is a restaurant onsite and public parking close by.
We were looking for an affordable stay in Boston for one night and decided to try out this hostel type hotel, we selected a king room with bathroom down the hall. The hotel and rooms were stylish, comfortable and well air conditioned! The front desk provided dinner suggestions and umbrellas when rain moved in. The shared bathrooms was not an issue -they were clean and always available. only complaint was a noisy air conditioning unit - would recommend packing ear plugs and shower shoes.
