It’s a nice hotel. It’s a bit older. We stayed in March 2023 for a night on our way to Charleston. It’s easy to park at. The grounds have a pretty patio area and there’s a TGIFridays attached. It’s within walking distance to a small downtown area. First Watch was GREAT from breakfast. The hotel breakfast was $18/person. Which is why we opted to go out. There’s an indoor pool. My teenage daughters liked that. We had a small balcony over looking the patio with a partial view of the Smoky Mountains. One of the metal chairs were broken though so only one of us could be outside at a time. The room was clean. There’s no fan in the bathroom so it gets steamy fast. We had to ask for a complete sheet set for the pull out sofa. Overall it was all right. Not my favorite doubletree. But it was nice.…
We had a Suite Room in the main building on fifth floor which was quiet as requested. The Desk staff was very helpful at check-in. The room was very clean and large with King bed and living area. We had a view of the Garden which is nice to take a walk into and look around. The overall location is perfect and with the TGI Friday's attached it's convenient for a meal and or a drink. We went and enjoyed it. In the morning the hotel offers and cooked to order hot breakfast for $15 and it is worth it. Egg Omelets or otherwise. Lots of sides and other offerings. A lot better than the usual free breakfast at many hotels (especially during Covid restrictions).
This hotel is very clean and the food is delicious. the staff is very welcoming and friendly. It also has a bar/restaurant attached. Very convenient and very good food and hospitality. Located in the middle of everything. Highly recommend.
We have been visiting Asheville over the past 5 decades and have never had the need to spend the night prior to this occasion. This facility is an extremely pleasant surprise in Asheville. My wife and I had never spent night in Asheville previously but had to stay due to her having surgery extremely early the next morning. If we ever have to stay overnight in Asheville again this is definitely where we will stay.
Awesome hotel with Great restaurant Fridays attached for convenience and family enjoyment. Great Birthday and Anniversary combined. The waiter was personal and very helpful in deciding on food. Thank you all for awesome trip..
Four day trip to Asheville was great with Double Tree playing a big roll with convenience, comfort and quality. Great location for visiting Biltmore Estate and Winery, shopping and sight seeing. Room very comfortable and clean with well above average appointments.
Took care of me and my family during a time of need. Great location close to everything. Safe and clean part of town. Rooms and staff were excellent. Restaurant TG Friday attached to hotel for convenience.
I was charged $330 for a two hour stay with a boil water notice. After getting in the room I didn’t think it was even worth that price. Water was dripping from the ceiling as you came in from water leak.
The cookies were TERRIBLE. The room was small and old. The bathroom had mold. No microwave or tissues. I’ve stayed at many Doubletree hotels but after this I will never stay at another. The bed was not very comfortable either.
If there were a choice for 10 stars, we would give it. My husband and I have been in the process of relocating from Virginia and have had the pleasure of staying at the Doubletree Hilton at Biltmore for over a year while we find the right house here in Asheville. We couldn’t have asked for a better staff who we have come to think of as our extended family. If we ever need anything, the friendly staff is quick to make it happen. I would recommend this hotel to any and all who need an outstanding, relaxing stay.
