I was in Asheville for a few nights and this hotel was a good value. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and it is easy to get onto the Interstate. The room was clean and quiet and everything worked as expected. Making a left turn out of the hotel onto Tunnel Road can be a challenge, but with a bit... More

For $65 a night - what do you expect? The Ritz. Can't believe some of the reviews. The room was clean, well stocked, outstanding service - the people we met, who checked us in, answered questions, checked us out were all courteous, helpful, friendly! If you want the big Biltmore hotel, expect to pay $300 plus.

We stayed two nights at this Econo Lodge and felt we got good value for our money. Our check-in was painless and the room cost us the rate that was quoted on the Choice Hotels website. We requested and were given an upstairs room. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the bathroom was spotless. The bathroom appeared... More

They tried to scam me out of money by not calling me about the price hike in my reservation. I had hidden fees and a spiked rate from my confirmed booking. Tried to charge me double, so I just walked out the door. Total scum bags. Only comfort I can get from paying a phony cancellation fee, is I'm sure... More

Melissa, the lady working the front desk, gave every single person in our party of 6 a hard time about something. She wouldn't let anyone check in until 3 o'clock on the dot. She had a bad attitude about everything & acted as though she was doing us a favor by doing her job. Our room (263) was deemed uninhabitable... More

Our hotel room was surprisingly nice and well appointed for the price point and location. The issue that we had was with the staff. At check in I was VERY pleased with the kindness of the clerk. The check in process was speedy. HOWEVER- when we went to enter the room he gave us it had clothes on the floor,... More

Pretty worn and outdated hotel, as are most Econo Lodges. Room size was ok, bath clean, beds comfortable. didn't use morning breakfast, as we were across the street form IHOP. Check in and out was easy, probably a lot of people kept away from the Hurricane that dumped inches of rain on our last days

My brother, nephew, parents and myself rented two rooms for two nights last weekend. Under normal conditions one expects not everything at an Econo Lodge to be perfect, and the issues we had would not have been so bad if we were paying Econo Lodge prices. This being the heart of leaf-peeping season we were decidedly not paying Econo Lodge... More

The plus side to the hotel was that the staff was very friendly. That's where it ended for us. The room seemed clean at first glance but then it wasn't. The bathtub was rusted and the walls were absolutely disgusting. It looked like someone had previously pulled the door off of our room and when they reinstalled it, they got... More

My wife and I stayed here recently and had no problems. The staff workers english is little rough though. The rooms, however, were clean and the price was good for our budget. We didn't eat the complimentary breakfast so I will not speak to that. The only oddity we found was the additional cash deposit of $60 for paying with... More
